Henslow's Sparrow Visits Historic Battlefield

I was visiting the Saratoga National Historic Park, and saw that someone the day before spotted a Henslow's Sparrow. I searched one of the southern most fields and was able to locate this secretive little sparrow. For several minutes it sang it's short song over and over, hidden deep in the tall grass. Finally, it hopped up and perched on a long stalk of grass. I was very excited to capture quick videos of this rare visitor. This site is an excellent spot to learn some history about the American Revolutionary War while birding.
