did you notice, all the birds went silent when motor vehicles approached? (Convoy ambush)< the birds just rippled quiet when the motors got too close. Also the downed betty bomber in the forest was pure gold. well done Bohemian.

lol when I saw Syndikat I was like. Ok this campaign isn't gonna be serious at all lol! Just by the voice acting and everything it doesn't seem to be as serious military oriented as the altis campaign. But that tipped it over the edge!

APEX - best ARMA ever ;-) I Love the "Jungle" Enviroment... sometimes you don´t see the enemy a few feet away.. so intense :-)

When trying to quietly take down a patrol, try to shoot the guy in the back of the pack first. If you shoot the guy in back, the only people who will have a chance of noticing are the guys directly in front of him (the sound of the body hitting the ground and all), but if you shoot the guy in front, everybody in the patrol WILL notice, making follow up shots harder (as seen at 12:30 when you engage the two man patrol)

Pretty awesome, love the AKs tho it woulda been nice to see an RPK but hey, love how they give the Guerrilla faction an M249 for the Gunner instead.

The problem with the campaign is that designed for a 4 players coop, but when you play solo you don't get IA assistance.
PD: I would take some Claymores and a Slam mines from the temple. The Slam annihilate the first car and the Claymores along the road do the same with the soldiers.

From a tactics point of view, use the bridge as a choke point. Perhaps use the quad to block them then use AT to take out the trail car. Trap them on the bridge then it's like fish in a barrel.

I think one of the reasons the hitboxes are broken is that we should have some muzzle awareness. I do agree they are iffy at points though.

Hi, I just ordered APEX yesterday and cannot see any Campaign.
Seems they have separate missions that are meant to be MP but can be played SP.
Yeah....if you don't like the thermal goggles use the nightstalker sight lying in your vest. every role has one.
And how is the performance ? Is also a heavy load on the CPU like the normal Arma or is the performance heavier on the GPU ?

Everybody talking about the AI are stupid AF I agree to some extent, however this is no walk in the park if you get shot you get shot, I've watched so many videos where theres a zeus, and Players struggle to get to objectives this game is limitless when it comes to consuming your time very good investment
Dude Just increase the difficulty, AI pretty much become smart they start to hunt you as they hear first shot.
Is this the A.I in regular Arma 3 or just campign? Because they are really good!

I wish Arma's AI was a lot better. That first bit where you shoot the guy like 5 times and he doesn't move lol.

This makes me cry, I can only run arma on the bare minimum
Arma 3 isn't that hard to run on decent settings. I managed with a 750ti fairly well until I got my 1050ti recently. The real killer is the need for a higher end CPU since this is technically a simulator. I've got a pretty good i5 and I'm sure that's where my bottleneck in this game is currently. Hoping to get a nice i7 in the future to improve my experience.

You betchya, while not apart of NATO, the ANZUS Treaty(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ANZUS) dictates that all matters in the Pacific should be handled by those closes, this being an incident in the North of the Oceania region the ADF & NZDF are are to respond along side the US.
Oddly enough according to the game Australia is "allied to NATO" which seems kind of odd since NATO is an alliance in the first place.
But obviously they are allied with certain NATO alliance member countries.

TTT 1 Well actually they are about as intertwined in NATO as Saudi Arabia is. They both buy and use NATO weapons, although Australia produce and use their own weapons as well, such as the F88 Austeyr and the Australian F1 grenade, while Saudi Arabia produces at least one Saudi patented MLRS and at least one Saudi patented drone.

How come you don't draw your lines straight on the map? Is there an actual reason or is it just for the sake of it?
I don't like this respawn system for the Apex campaign. Basically you can be killing enemies 1 by 1 until you finish. I want to be afraid of dying, and not grind thru missions without consequences.

OperatorDrewski is there no way to fix this? I am thinking about buying the game, but this respawn instead of death thing bothers me a great deal.
GamingGrub15 I did that while playing Far Cry 1 and Crysis 1 and 2. I'd restart Crysis from level1, and Far Cry I'd start the level again.
While I greatly enjoyed Crysis (hardest difficulty) no-death runs, it is too easy.
Far Cry 1 is the only other shooter that is actually sneaky and hard.
hoped ArmA3 would provide something like FarCry1 only with better graphics and better gameplay, but it seems that it is not a game I'd enjoy.
I really don't want to make anything in the editor or use mods and whatnot. I want to play the campaign (single player only) and all I keep hearing is that the campaign is disappointing.
Alot of arma 3 players are in a clan. They play coop missions very very very tactically, so be sure to check out arma 3 clans. Im not quite sure, but I think Luetin is in a good clan

How are you switching the rifle to the left shoulder around buildings? I can only lean with the q and e keys
By default LCtrl + A, check Dslyecxi's movement guide (and guides overall) you can adjust stance vertically and horizontally, up to 9 vertical positions (high standing, standing, low standing, high crouching, crouching, low crouching, high prone -where you sit on your ass- prone and low prone, where you can't move or aim but can point shoot your weapons as close to the ground as possible, useful for firing from below buildings, vehicles etc) you can also adjust stance horizontally, AKA sidestep, left sidestep when crouching and standing swaps your weapon to your left shoulder, adjusting left and right while prone moves your entire upper body, so you lay sideways while shooting forward, try it!
You can NOT combine vertical and horizontal adjustment at the same time sadly, but you can lean with Q and E from any crouch and standing variation, normal prone just rolls you, high and low dont have a lean / roll I think, not that I ever needed it
But yeah, stance adjustment is KEY for exposing your soft, vulnersble tissue as little as possible while still being able to fire
