in the boot tab, the only option i have is for "Windows Boot Manager" but when I try booting from the USB on my actual computer it shows up. any idea why this is happening?

Welcome, on Acer laptop model Aspire:
If you want to change the Boot Mode from UEFI to Legacy: go to Security tab and set the Supervisor Password then disable the Secure Boot.
Don't forget the password you enter! You can delete it once you have made your changes.
Press the F10 key and select Yes to save the changes and exit.

I had the samo problem. I had to connect mouse form other computer to get it to work

On my model it's just showing the acer logo and the circle loading thing, tried the stick on my pc and it works just fine, i just can't figure this laptop out

1_ Make sure your USB Port is capable of connecting to USB Flash Drive.
_ Try another USB port.
2_Make sure you are create a Bootable USB Flash Drive.
_You must checked whether your USB Flash Drive is really bootable or not.
_ Try another USB Flash Drive.
