I've loved hunting openings most of my life, always figured if I could see more ground I would have more opportunity.

They let you attach your stands to the power poles. We’d have to have someone bring bail money 🤣

could be the power company built it on someone's land/lease agreement, no? My local farm where I hunt has a massive grain silo but it's really a cell tower disguised lol

Really enjoy your videos they are very informative and I like your style !! Here in central New York where I'm from I had a Gas line company come through 10 years ago on my property They took out of 110' wide strip of thick brush Put all the good brush on the sides is excellent betting in browse cover !! I kill a bark out of my favourite stand there every year during archery and again during our rifle season !! They have to cross it to feed or to follow the doe's I planted clover in corn in small sections And this year killed 150" 8 point with my bow In a 182" 15 pt.non typical It was definitely a great season and I love gasoline in power line cuts for catching big bucks Crossing ! Keep up the great videos and I am glad to see you have your wife hunting with you ! Really enjoyed her video in the long shot she made 😁

Love hunting a good power line! Few years ago while scouting I was seeing a good buck cross a power line during Arkansas bow season. Small pines and no place to hang a stand. So about 200 yds off the power line was a white oak bottom so I hung a stand in there and killed him a few days later with my bow, scored 153” over 20” wide. Good hunt enjoy your content!

Loved the hunt! I got several stands on the power line. They cross at all times of the day! Gotta be on your toes. We see more deer there than at any other stand we have. As a side note, I sure hope you never shoot at me! Those were some serious long range shots. I shoot a .308 too. I LOVE that caliber! I always say to others who ask why I shoot it...cause there is no tracking! I've killed a lot of deer over the past 50 years of hunting with it and 99% are laying in their tracks.

Jeremy, I just recently found your channel and I love it! I can relate directly to your hunting style as the terrain in central, AL is similar. Love that powerline through the pines you got. I enjoy hunting roads or any kind of lane through the pines when they are cruising. Tough self-filming, your doing a fantastic job. Good luck this weekend, sounds like it’s prime time for the powerline!

Good ole pipeline produces deer down in Kentucky at my grandads every year. I hunt the farm up here in ohio (home to me). Usually just go out in my camo suit and sit in a tree line. Boy the rush is great when they get 3-4 yards away and don’t see you when you’re not in a blind or anything lol. I love it!

I've killed most of my bucks on powerlines. I've always felt there is a level of comfortability with a mature buck on those powerlines. Especially when the wind is blowing and vortexing through there. Those bucks can smell and see for long distances.

Power lines are killer here in PA, I don’t hunt them though because they get too much pressure on state game lands but on private land in PA they are a gold mine during rifle season

  • @BassSlayer2

Couldn’t agree with you more about hunting over a corn pile or food plot. There’s no hunting involved when doing that. Rather watch your videos any day than a video of somebody sitting on a food plot hoping and praying and waiting for one to come in instead of getting out and hunting one down. Good stuff and keep the videos coming

Good hunt, I’m not much on hunting bait or green fields
Seems like if a guy don’t have a greenfield or a ton of corn dumped out he can’t and won’t go hunting .
Iv always hunted them on their terms, and no after dark hunting.
    Hammer Down

So much area to watch.I have a gas line like that. And it gives me a headache watching it all.200 to the top and bottom and 500 out the front.Better with 2 people. My wife and I have both shot 4 year olds from it.And she has missed a couple good ones from it.
