So the only way to defeat them is hit and run. When they are trying to invade your town, go to their base immediately and attack many buildings as much as possible, then run when you see them teleporting back to their place. Make sure you have expansion because sometimes they will destroy your fortress even you're already sieging their stronghold. Repeat this until you destroy their major structures. Don't forget to kill many workers as much as you can. Remember, AI is not a person. Studying their behavior will lead you to victory.
