Well, it's a cover. The original is by the Smiths. It's probably just gatekeeping, but i really don't want a Gallagher to receive the laurels for the work of another.

You're right. Its a cover, all credit to Morrissey and Marr. Noel's version is what got me into the Smiths - so I'll forever be grateful to that. 🙂
