But keep in mind that the players still have to know how to do these mechanics which are really hard and just use TAS to perfect it and create crazier shots
i tried TAS 3 months ago after seeing clips all over tiktok and got humbled 1 hour trying to get a clip with my c3 ahh 😂😂

Great shots and Great vid, congrats to all 3 for making some incredible to watch freestyles. Only thing I would say is I think the shorts voting idea isn't a good way to vote. You're likely going to get some outside traffic that could skew the vote if one gets picked up in the algorithm and people just like it because its a cool shot and not on the basis of "I vote for this one over the others." Say, for example, Fractal's shot gets more engagement for whatever reason, and half of the likes are just from passerby viewers who don't know that its a competition and just like it because its cool (which it is), but that takes away from the competitive element of the challenge.

a person does need to respect the time that it takes for a clip that may last at most a minute

TAS as Tool assisted speedrunning is a part of the larger category of TAS called tool assisted superplays. These all use the same tools, but tool-assisted speedrunning is only for (of course) speedruns.

Love to see this TAS clips, really pushing the boundaries of content in the community.
However, I am not a fan of people trying to pass these absurd clips off as genuine gameplay. Especially those who just repost these kinds of clips.
Making these TAS require a different and just as challenging skillset as playing the game in the traditional sense. Lets celebrate that and recognise those achievements and open people up to a new side of the community.

Many other games use tas, particularly in the mario kart franchise, I'm honestly surprised that it's only mainstream in Rocket League now
The tas plugin was a community sourced effort to get private tas plugins exposed. People had been using it to set world records and passing the clips off as genuine. Until a huge exposé happened on a redshift member who had literally joined one of the best freestyling/noflip orgs by faking clips and editing his replay files manually. So the “TAS Plugin” with watermark was invented and made public so anyone could use it but also so it was easy to tell if a clip had used it. So its not that tas wasnt used up until now, it was just that it like many other games, was being used for malicious and non genuine reasons.
Sunless and a few others have gone further into detail on the subject, would recommend checking out their vids on it

Why doesn’t musty air roll on the kuxizrs he may slightly but as far as I know the best way to make kuxizer is to tilt totally sideways on the right side of the ball on the right wall and opposite if he was doing it on the left
