@@carsohindi hmm yeh toh maine socha hi nai, MG ko copyright le lena chahiye is feature ka kahi or koi brand na yeh feature add krde apni gaddion main.

It’s a feature available in most VW branded cars. (In my case on my A1 and A4 Avant)
VW shares some of their parts with MG as well.

Yeh bhi bataiye ki jab aapko gaadi start karke kahin jaana hai toh pehele wipers ko windshield pe haat se utaar dein.
Nahin toh jab aap engine start karenge toh jor se windshield pe girenge.

I don't consider this as a feature. I would say this is a design flaw. I too own a Astor and it thinks its unnecessary. I had kept my key in car and my wipers were up and off the glass. Its suppose to go down only when i turn on ignition but as soon i opened car door it went down and banged on the edge of the bonnet and damaged the paint. thankfully its just a small scratch and cant be seen but it could have damaged the paint even more so make sure put them on glass before entering the car.
I have an Astor super model. And this function is not there.
