    Hey, who's excited about OP-Z?

    Love that they added midi, it's cool how modular the OP-Z is.

      Yeah, adds a lot of value to the device.

    Mine is coming in 2 days. I can't wait!!! This vid couldn't have come at a better time. Line-in is going to be super useful.

      I'm pretty sure you can do line in without the module

    Got my module last week! Perfect timing. Any chance you'll make videos on the dirtywave m8?

      Great timing, indeed!
      I'd really like to check out the Dirtywave M8! It looks super cool. If I could get my hands on one, I'd make some videos on it. I'll see what I can do.

    Hi, I got my line module few days ago, it's awesome!! But I have one thing about MIDI signals which stuckes me the whole time. I can't get any reaction from OP-Z when I play anything on my midi controller(keyboard), except the LED light from the MIDI-in port was flashing (which means it has received the MIDI signal). All MIDI setups are checked on / Using USB-port to send MIDI-in has no problem. Any idea how it could be? A biiiiig thank for answering this :3
    (Same with the MIDI-out sending no signal neither, I switch it to PO mode and it works great with pocket operator. I think I may miss something with settings or)

    Hello, I would like to send MIDI from OP-Z to a synth WALDORF pulse 2. Which one you think is better? Op Lab or Line module? Thanks 🎉

    • @OllieLoops
      @OllieLoops  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they are both based on the same connections. The line module may be a cleaner/ simpler setup.

    its a bit stupid to set the switches you have to open the opz again. what about drilling some holes in the backplate?

    • @OllieLoops
      @OllieLoops  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s not a bad idea. You could also 3d print a backplate with holes in it.

      do you know what is REALLY stupid? The idiot who thought using the softest rubber material on earth would be a smart choice for the op-z feet. Blutak would have been better. Honestly, this is a design company that fails so badly in logical design decisions.

    Hello, I have and RD9 and the Opz with the line module, I would like to sync rd9 tempo to opz and use opz as slave for tempo. I plug the sync out on the rd 9 to the midi in on the opz ( the led bright to the tempo on the module ) but the opz does not sync to the tempo, any idea how to sync opz? I also enable clock in on the app on the opz but doesn't work either

      Check out the opz manual, item 21.3. You can set the midi input clock incoming with button 4. Hope that helps.
