The fact that you actually need to ban cell phones in ELEMENTARY shows how unfortunate the kids are, with parents who will give 8 yr olds smartphones. I'm glad people are seeing what was true when I was in school: Restricting phones in classrooms is very good for the kids.
Kids can't memorize 5 or 6 classes during the day? Wow that is a new low. I never had a cell phone in high school and I made it through four years just fine.
I, like, had a notebook to keep track of my classes. 🙄
