Hey Todd, mate, do farangs hire drivers in Laos very much? I ask because I don't drive, (various reasons), and my missus is a bit flighty behind the wheel. We want to visit and clearly we need a car there. Is it like Vietnam ,where you can get a driver for a reasonable price? Also, any passionfruit grown over there? I never see it in the fruit stalls you show. Have a good one,all the best.
Sure they do mate... but can be a little pricey if you're hiring the car also. Best bet would be having your own car or arranging a vehicle to use, then hiring a driver. Be really cost effective that way considering the average monthly wage here is only about $200 US a month. Will keep my eye out for passionfruit for you. Pretty sure I've had it here.. 🤔
@@NowinLao Cheers mate. I only ask about the passionfruit as I'm looking for a viable business idea over there., a niche in the market. Grasping at straws I spose. I've been teaching English for over 20 years, had about enough of that. Never mind, onwards and upwards.
The streets are egalitarian in SE Asia in that all conveyances have equal right to be there. And everyone is looking out for everyone else, not simply looking to rules to govern behavior.
All good here Renz... we had only 19 cases, and none recorded for mire than 6 weeks now. Restrictions have loosened right up and can now travel freely within Lao. International borders still closed tho. Yes, recent vid from last Saturday 👍

Laos has the highest per capita food production figures in the entire world. It's almost like a food economy.
I'm not surprised. There may be some poor people here, but not many of them go hungry.
Thanks for that info 👍
Where is your restaurant located in Laos?
Why not take a little trolley with you? Seems like it would make things easier for you.
I can carry more than what can fit in a small trolley, and a bigger trolley only gets in the way and slows us down....besides, its great exercise for me. I dont mind at all
Hello sir how are you, hope you are fine there
I'm your subscriber from 🇮🇳 what is the top speed of your pickup truck....🚘

You own the shopping space?
I guess it’s better than your generic English teaching gig. Still not really sure what he does but..
Hi Todd. What kind of work do you do?
As little as possible 😁👍
Why is it called the Lao-Aussie market? What is the Aussie connection?

What are you passing out to the sellers?
Our order.
The streets are egalitarian in SE Asia in that all conveyances have equal right to be there. And everyone is looking out for everyone else, not simply looking to rules to govern behavior.
Exactly! Not looking for somebody who broke a rule so they feel they have the right to abuse them!
Todd what kind of work you do in laos?
Tod.
Your welcome to that job, I'd rather blade shear 200 merino rams on a Monday morning after a HARD weekend.
Ya need a bloody medal mate.
should bring a trolley with you , easier ... 1 trip
Hey mate. How is Covid19 situation in Laos? And by the way is this a recent video?
All good here Renz... we had only 19 cases, and none recorded for mire than 6 weeks now. Restrictions have loosened right up and can now travel freely within Lao. International borders still closed tho. Yes, recent vid from last Saturday 👍
@@NowinLao Good to hear that. Stay safe over there mate! My friends from Perth are saying hello!
