Druce Kirby he was both. Mail away Rex had a special package (The Display shown in the video) and was a “clean” figure. The first Rex on the pegs in wave one had a regular package and had a “dirty” weathered finish.

Ahhh the memories. When I was but a wee lad, when I go to Walmart or Target I'll go straight to the toy isle and stand there looking at all the swtcw merch available at the time. Sometimes I'll buy a clone trooper or two if I had money and most times I'll just look at all the characters to see what I wanted to get whenever I go back.
I had one of the Special Ops clone trooper, I bought it in NY and the airline fools lost my baggage and since that moment....... I've never had the chance to get another one 😔

Lmfao I stumbled upon this video because recently I found a figure of Rex from when I was younger, so I ended up looking more of the figures online and got Cody and Matchstick (who is one of the episode exclusive ones you mentioned) off of Ebay and Mercari haha. I am looking forward to the arrival of the two of them! I have a feeling that I'm probably gonna end up getting 1 or 2 more clones (though I decided I'm only getting ones with removable helmets) and this is very helpful to know about the lack of articulation in the figures as they "evolved". So thank you!
I'm from Brazil and i love that line! Unfortunately, the main figures never came to our shops, and if it started to get hard for you to found the figures, imagine for us. The seven inch figure of the steampunk looking character was in the Gendry Tartatakovsky Clone Wars series: they appeared in the final chapter, episode 25. They were linked to the Separatists. I'd recommend the AT-TE for your collection!
You're right, but also wrong. While Skakoans (The species) appear at the end of the Tartakovsky series, this particular character of the same species, Kul Teska, appears in the Republic Heroes video game as the primary antagonist.
I never noticed Anakin’s nose was a square until I watched this. (Edit: I watched this back when it came out, I just never commented on videos until very recently).
True. He was only released in a single wave and that was a wave that was sparingly shipped. It was the spring wave which had to compete with the previous Christmas waves which stores still had leftover. So they didn’t order many of the spring waves. Plus Sidious was an awful figure. We all expected him to get a superior figure in a later wave. But that never happened. So he remains rare.
@@DonJOBrien I disagree that he's awful. I thought they nailed his early-TCW likeness. I prefer his later-TCW likeness, when he had the red robes and all, but I thought they really did do a solid job with the figure of him that we got. I hope to get him someday from eBay, eventually.
i remember my first time seeing those white and blue figure packagings stocked to the brim with any figure you could think of, man its sad to see shelves so empty now, its just not the same, i have a son now and it sucks he probably wont ever experience those same feelings i did as a kid.

I know I'm not Jc and a bit late but if I were u, pick and choose from each line, the saga legends figures are harder to find but vintage collection is more expensive, at least in my experience, hope I helped

When you find Darth Sidious for 90 Bucks, The Fordo that came in the one battle pack for 30 bucks, and arc commander blitz for 45 bucks, and the weird concept art commander colt that could be passed off as commander hammer, and commander colt, all at NYCC 2017. And you pick up like half of them, and get some of them for free because of buy two get 1 free.
ps, they had some other clone wars figures like the mail away captain rex, season 3 ahsoka, and boil and waxer, and some others. It was amazing, and now I'm poor
I have a Captain Rex Action figure without his helmet, Kama, Pauldron, and some of his left arm since my dog Jack ate it years ago. I think I found his helmet a few months ago, but lost it again.

I had the arc trooper battle pack. However my dog when she was little chewed them to bits. The only one I have left is Captain Fordo.
