You are 100% right about the kids. I have 2 teenagers and they learned early what was an acceptable behaviour and the requirement for manners.

You are so right about people lacking manners! Common courtesy is sadly very hard to find these days. Love the podcast and so so so glad that football is back.

OMG! How much do I love that Erin yelled at those assholes on the plane! 🎉

You guys are spot on! I have 5 children, and I believe it's not the kids, its the parents! Not much was different from 4 to teenagers. Trust me the behavior will not change unless the parents set boundaries.... love your podcast ladies. Are we ready for some football?

I totally agree with what you were saying in regards to those kids on the flight. My mom has this saying and I think it’s so true…no one thinks your kids are as cute as you do. The same would go for pets. You might think it’s adorable that your two-year-old is running around the airplane but nobody else does, and nobody else should be expected to. I know that kids have moments but when parents allow or enable kids to behave badly, I can’t stand it.

Excellent rant about kids! This coming from someone who also doesn’t have kids. I once saw a kid throwing a tantrum and all the father did was say “That’s not acceptable behavior, that’s not acceptable behavior.” OMG!

Ladies, you're 100% right. We have 4 children and get compliments on their behavior in restaurants and planes. We have flown first class with them and had no issues (at the time, the oldest was 6 and youngest was under 1 year). I'm not bragging, but they are WARNED beforehand that they'll be very sorry if they don't behave (no, we don't abuse them, of COURSE). If they do not behave, it's not a fun time for them. Guess what? THEY BEHAVE. Is it sometimes uncomfortable to others when we get LOUD in a public situation while correcting them? Probably. BUT. They straighten up. Then it's done. Parents need to be controlling this stuff, not children. There are always extenuating circumstances, and I'm not pretending otherwise. However, in normal situations, there should be good behavior, or you're removed from the situation OR in the instance of the plane, threatened to NEVER fly again if they don't immediately knock it off. We also bring tablets, toys, books, etc. Other people paying to eat and fly shouldn't have their time ruined because no one wants to be the bad cop.

Amen ladies...I have 3 kiddos and am seen as a strict parent to many. Kids need boundaries and to know they're not the center of the universe! I love them but they have rules and a healthy fear of their parents haha

Way too many people with flight issues, good for you Erin! And what’s the wine? I’ve got a long flight ‘for football’ soon (CT to Dallas for thanksgiving), flying would love to know what to order, lol.

The vehicle should have OIL changed every 5K miles. An alert displays on the dashboard when the odometer is close to 5K traveled. Also, most service centers place a small sticker at the top of the windshield stating the NEXT mileage interval to change the vehicle's oil. It's just a barometer, going past that mark and traveling a few hundred extra miles before finding the time to change the oil won't cause any issues. Hope This Helps ! 🚘🔍
