Thanks for the content. I have a lab who listens VERY well and will always recall. But on the other hand I’ve got a bloodhound who once the nose gets hold of a scent she’s gone. I was looking for a super affordable way to make a 100ft lead. So she can enjoy time in the fields and off leash dog parks. This was a really simple and cheap way to make one. Now both dogs can enjoy the freedom together!
That's all very nice and yet there is still room for improvement. I made a adjustable leash for even less money, with no tools, by simply tying two knots in under two minutes.
Great video! I wonder what store would sell cotton ropes instead of nylon for an even softer feel. Just a quick tip, the handle is meant for your thumb, not your wrist. Put your thumb to the top of the loop and then grip the rest of the handle with your hand, it makes it easier to pull back on a lunging dog! Thank you for the vid!
Hey guys love you content! I make mine very similar. If you guys ever start having issues with the metal bracket snagging things pick up some shrink wrap. I always put it over my cable crimps and they last for a good while ! Thank you for the videos!
@@doubletapduo1715 THE LEASHES ARE HOLDING UP GREAT I ALSO MADE 2 LONG TRAINING LEASHES 1 IS 15 FT THE OTHER IS 50 FT OUT OF HARBOR FREIGHT 1/4 DIAMOND BRAID ROPE 300 LB BREAKING STRENGTH
Took more than five minutes unless your amazing shoppers and speed like hell, this seemed like a very expensive project for a LEASH ROFL buy hammers and pliers? Wtf ever lol
@@gzo313 troll? Lmao, honesty hurts, I can make a no pull no choke no roll dog harness with a lead for less than 10 dollars but it takes time and no tool... sorry
To improve the looks of it you can put some heat shrink tubing over the bracket
Great idea! Maybe we'll try that on next time!

Nice! We wanted to avoid using knots for ours - we prefer the look with the brackets. Thank you for the feedback!
Thank you sooo much !!!

Wow
Hi!! Which pliers are those?
Hi! The pliers we used are just a standard slip joint plier. Thank you for commenting!
En k tienda compra los materiales
We bought all of the supplies at our local Home Depot!
Si ya dijo en el Home Depot
No hate, but your dogs need more exercise and less food. Little chunky!
Exactly why we made the leashes (walks = exercise) 😎
