Best tutorial yet on a heavy cuff with so many components. The soldering lessons are extremely helpful and the detailed explanations are much appreciated.
You are amazing I love the weather do you explain everything and show the different techniques that you use. Your work is stunning and I am so glad that you were able to share your creative side with everyone. God bless you
Outstanding Roberta! I would have liked to watch you set those little garnets too, just to see how you positioned the cuff to set them, maybe another time... thanks for this awe inspiring tutorial girl! You know I am a big fan!
Badazz tut Berta!! Finally got a chance to watch. I would so melt that cuff trying to pic solder with that big torch! Hell, I'd burn down the whole studio! Can't tell you how gorgeous it is & how I appreciate you going into all the detail with your tips. I learned tons with this one! Thanks!💖💖💖💖💖
Great video! A very candid look at your process. I love your little one making a cameo appearance ❤️ What diameter is the round pipe on the cuff bender, if you don't mind taking the time. Thanks so much!
Very nice work. I enjoyed the entire video, and the cuff was beautiful. Out of curiosity, how much would a cuff like that go for ? For a guy ? Soldier on
Tamara Adams aww thanks doll! If I had room for bloopers though I would have shared them! I’ll compile another video just for them *giggles!* y’all need to see how many mistakes I make when I do this lol!!
Thanks Roberta! So well done as a tutorial and work! Your cuffs are just getting more and more awesome as Richard Barretts are too ! I know you so well I was just waiting for the shot at 1:0142 Beer! Hahaha!
Your such an inspiration and joy to watch!! I have learned TONS from you!!! I have a question are those cuff benders still available?? I would LOVE one. Thanks for all you share and the great music in the back! Love it!!
Sylvia Yahalom I have this one I’ve used on my Facebook page at m.facebook.com/Oregontrailsilver but they’re also available at www.oregontrailsilver.com 💕
A FAB video(!!!), I'm wondering where those links are for the tools, etc. that you mentioned...Thank you so much. I took lots of notes and wrote questions... I LOVE this level of project, I'm bored to tears with "how to bezel a cab...." Oh, and one question here, why do you prefer air filing and bezeling to using sturdy support underneath? Is it more precise? I've learned SO much from this video. Also, this video has the scent of LKV on it. She suggests yellow ochre for saving joins, if you know her.
Oh! I’ll add them in the comments here in a few thank you!! Don’t waste your time and $ on LKV - most of her projects can be found and purchased from the ORIGINAL artists that she learned from and for WAY less $. (Yes I did make that mistake lol) I suggest looking into Alan Revere’s Professional Jewelry Making book - LOTS of awesome projects! Plus we have a support group on FB for it with his personal guidance as an admin 💕 As for yellow ochre - I’ve found that with proper heat control there is absolutely no need for it. It’s messy and difficult to clean off and really, I can (and have) done this type of piece with hard solder on the rails and medium for everything else without any desoldering. Proper heat control will save you a ton of time and you’ll never need that messy junk again ;)
Lol @ music being old shyt! Sucks when all the sudden our music gets called oldies! 🤣🤣. You've memtioned some places you get stuff and people. I'm just getting back in after a 6 yr out. You need to add links !
Exactly! Hard solder is the best but it takes a lot of heat for that much metal. The risk, is that the amount of heat required may melt the silver so you have to keep a watchful eye out. If you think you need to stop, stop. Let it cool, quench, pickle, flux and keep going. I have to do that at least once putting the rails on these. Don’t be afraid to!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Your video is great. Learned much. Small suggestion - kill the loud music. It is only a distraction from your great presentation. Plus, are you possibly violating some copyrights? Thanks again.
Great vid, Super subject details, not so super shot angles though. Sorry. You might try shooting from your right side, and maybe overhead as well. Stay the course, your good!
I use Elie Ghanime’s hummingbird holders to weigh down pieces - there is a platinum pick that works great if you’re soldering platinum but not so great for silver. Sorry this is an older video but I’m happy to answer questions here ;) Elie Ghanime is on Facebook and you can message him directly to ask about his hummingbirds! 💕

Thank you for sharing such a brilliantly informative tutorial.
Also, loving all the cool custom tools!🤘
Great tip on soldering the decorative wire with the tube solder, been having a problem with that!
Great tutorial, kudos on your patience! It's amazing how things can look so bad,and then u pickle!
The music is great, watching you make it look easy is even better.
Just what I needed to see today…wonderful tutorial thank you for sharing

Hey, I recognize that bench sheer, it's now mine. I used it the other day and LOVE it. Thanks!
You do amazingly beautiful work! Thank you for sharing!
Have you ever tried using slotted wire to frame a cuff bracelet? Curious if you would solder it on first or form the cuff first ...
You’ve outdone yourself! Absolutely gorgeous piece! I learn so much watching you work. Thank you!
Great video! A very candid look at your process. I love your little one making a cameo appearance ❤️
What diameter is the round pipe on the cuff bender, if you don't mind taking the time. Thanks so much!
Wow, You have skills :) Love to see your work :)
Very nice work. I enjoyed the entire video, and the cuff was beautiful.
Out of curiosity, how much would a cuff like that go for ? For a guy ?
Soldier on
AWESOME!!! I would love to hang out with you and pay you to make another one with you together hands on!
Gorgeous! Did I miss why you chose fine silver? Easier to move? Do you ever use channel wire?
Knocked it out of the park, Roberta! Nice cuff, and those skull eyes, wow!!!
Great video, Roberta! Beautiful piece!
Thanks for taking the time to do this. Appreciate the explanations.
Absolutely stunning! I’m in awe of your talent, Roberta! 💜
Tamara Adams aww thanks doll! If I had room for bloopers though I would have shared them! I’ll compile another video just for them *giggles!* y’all need to see how many mistakes I make when I do this lol!!
AMAZING!! Thanks a million for showing us!!
Amazing work, love the design elements.
How to I purchase that cuff bending tool??
WOW!! Love your work.
Very nice work.
Thanks Roberta! So well done as a tutorial and work! Your cuffs are just getting more and more awesome as Richard Barretts are too ! I know you so well I was just waiting for the shot at 1:0142 Beer! Hahaha!
Jim, did you notice she never put the torch down with that move? If I had tried that, bye bye bangs, bye bye eyebrows!
How thin of a repeatable cut will that bench shear make?? Please advise. Thanks!
Zippy DoDah I’m not sure what it’s rated for but I’ve used it as thin as 30G. I don’t think they sell it anymore either :(
Love the tunes.
Great content. Thank you! ❤
Beautiful!
Oh. And the music is on point. 😂❤
Great and informative video, thank you. One question, do you pickle in between soldering each component.
Your such an inspiration and joy to watch!! I have learned TONS from you!!! I have a question are those cuff benders still available?? I would LOVE one. Thanks for all you share and the great music in the back! Love it!!
You mentioned a book w DVD by Kate rich borg. Title please?
Kates book with the dvd?
Hey I heard you say weights in the back? But I don’t see what was in your hand. You showed something. Weights where tho?
Good video! Thanks for doing this. Turned out really cool!
So, where do you get your embellishments...? Thanks! -
Zippy DoDah I make them using impression dies - mostly from Potterusa.com ;)
Thank you so much. This video is so informative! Learned tons from you. Where do you purchase the bracelet mandrel and how do you do your Mandela’s?
Is there a video on making the Mandela?
Can you make the bracelet in all sterling instead of fine silver?
Great tutorial …. What do you mean old music! If it’s old that means I’m old IT AINT OLD!!! That’s my story n I’m sticking to it 😂
Ahhh I love this! Thank you so much!
Where did you get the cuff former?
Where did you find wire? I had it before but can’t find it.
Love this!
You don’t put bottom plate on bezel?
Where do you get your texturing plate?

I was also looking for this info and didn't see it in the comments...... was it added? Thanks!
Outstanding Tutorial, Very Informative. I'd like to know who the Musician is on your Theme Song? It sounds a lot like Justin Johnson ?
Mike Wilbanks thanks doll! just a generic theme song provided by my editing program I decided I liked lol!
Lol @ music being old shyt! Sucks when all the sudden our music gets called oldies! 🤣🤣. You've memtioned some places you get stuff and people. I'm just getting back in after a 6 yr out. You need to add links !
Why use the charcoal to anneal the wire?
Love this cuff! Thank you for sharing the process! Can you post your connections for the supplies?
Is that a silicon wheel?
Thank you!
So, the rails have solder flowed and then sweat soldered to the cuff.

So beautiful, lots of heat! I need a bigger torch. I don’t think my orca will tackle this.
Cindy the torch that I’m using is great straight across the board ;) I’ve never used an Orca however so I don’t know how it’ll do...?
Seven Black Swans Artisan Jewelry Thank you, love ya bunches. I’ll have to save up

Why a 45 degree angle?
Beautiful! Tfs
Great vid, Super subject details, not so super shot angles though. Sorry. You might try shooting from your right side, and maybe overhead as well. Stay the course, your good!
Oh yea if I had the time to remake and edit this video… totally would lol absolutely agree on that!
My old shit is older than your old shit! Lol, thanks for a great vid!
Why will titanium pick mess you up. And held down with what? Film something? Can’t hear what your saying 😢
