Episode 34 - Dinkum

Let's Play Dinkum!
We both bought this game on Steam, and are figuring out how to play it!

*This game day was full of comedic (?) tragedy as Arlo and I set out to mushroom hunt (went well), collect copper (...), make some items for the mine (...), try to go into the mine (...), and then finish constructing the newest house (yayyyy)! We also had a few missing villager cases. Perhaps they went to sleep???

The mines are different every time you visit. Anything left down there disappears. Also, you can't sleep down there. You have to be in the mine shaft and heading back before the clock changes to late.

@@diannahr730 That is good to know!! I’ve kinda stopped paying attention to the time, so we will definitely need to make sure we keep an eye on it once we get back into the mine 🤔 And we’re super sad that the map will change each time 🥲 Thankfully we haven’t left a bunch of stuff down there yet! We will try out picking up what we place on our way out (as long as it doesn’t get too late I guess 😃)!

Nice stream as always your two are great 👍, the mine regenerate evry time you go in ,and to get a pet dog you need a dog collar which you find in a chest in the mine ,all you need at the beginning is wattle tea for energy and crab soup to protect your tools, don't forget the resin ,torches, and keys, and put your money away ,thanks for streaming love's you both ❤❤😊

Hi guys. Great job grabbing all those mushrooms. Just know each biome has its own mushroom. Just like making fruit salad takes all 4 fruit…. Mushroom soup requires the 4 biomes of mushrooms. Plus there’s a special red one in the mangrove area, they are more rare.
Hunt turkeys to upgrade your hunting. It’s a must for better weapons which will help in the mine as well. If it’s raining you can kill toads. Or… spear the jellyfish from shore will count as hunting. Iron tools are best when trying to survive the battles in the mine until you get more specialized weapons.

@@debbos125 Thanks! I think we will need to focus on the jungle and mangrove for our next mushroom picking - we have a lot of the regular mushrooms, but I don’t think we’ve gotten many of the jungle, and maybe only one of the red one 🤔
And thank you for the hunting tips and recommendations! Once we have the funds, we will turn on peaceful, but in the meantime we can hunt the turkeys and jelly fish like you recommended 😎
