Thanks! We were just placing the bridges for ourselves, but I didn’t think about the NPC’s. I have not seen the NPC’s really go anywhere except the campfire, but maybe that’s because they didn’t have anything else placed yet for them to interact with 🤔

@@Ann-and-Arlo No, why I tell you this, is because you can ask them to join you on their day-off. If they join you and you cross a poorly laid brigde, they do not follow. If the brigde is, on both sides, on the ground, they will follow.

Also, you guys will not get any death penalty if you revive eachother. Alphas require a lot of preparation. You need to sit down to help health regeneration. Put your money in your storage to stop from loosing money when you die, incase you can't revive eachother. Always have back up weapons.

Your journal will have details on food buffs. Early game foods are crab soup, fruit Salad, meat on a stick, cooked giant drum sticks are good too.

@@Ann-and-Arlo the reef islands is a place you go to after the airport is built. So kinda one of the last buildings for the town. But lots of fun items there to play with and decorate with.

Mangroves dont drop seeds but moving mud with shovels will spawn them wherever placed over time

@@Ann-and-Arlothats what i thought too but the iron just holds them longer! So you can use the basic traps too💜 its a little hectic throwing them in if you attract more than three to chase you

If you damage them they stay in longer as well

That’s so smart, it will be faster if the trap is on the depositing thing 😃 We definitely need to work so we can get the steel traps and start catching crocs!

You two are moving along nicely. It’s so important to do a job for the NPCs every day. It’s boring but necessary in the beginning. I’ve learned that if anyone gives you a gift of food. It’s best to keep it as later on an NPC named Sheila will visit and she notorious for asking for foods you can’t possibly make. She is hard to get to join the island because of this. I’m assuming you know if you say yes to a job or chore that if you fail you will actually lose points you have gotten.

@@debbos125 Thanks! We haven’t focused on it much on here yet, but you’re right, they give really good gifts! We’ll work on getting more of the neighbors tasks done (in our next round of recording). ☺️

@@Ann-and-Arlo i did It at night bc it doesn't require stamina) Though i didn't play for a long time, so not sure about patches, etc I bought 4 barbeques, bought 1k of limes and cooked them for a future adventures 🤠 And It's a good for selling at the ship too as he buys in stacks

Thank you! ☺️ Yeah, the first seed I had (recording didn’t work), it took forever to find fruit, and then I could only find green fruit 😂 When we restarted and the other fruit popped up, I was thinking it was an Animal Crossing, 1 fruit per island thing. Glad that’s not the case!
