There are plastic bags and bottles on Somalia's Beaches everywhere. Even the secluded beaches. This not due to littering by Somalis, 90+% of it is pollution from the sea, illegal waste dumping in our seas by foreign countries. I am glad president Xasan Sh spoke about it at the climate summit couple days ago and the government is taking decisive action.

It's pointless to clean once a week if waste dumping is not preventes with fines and banning plastic by the beaches . Lots of algae needs ro be cleaned up too
