Its amazing yo see just how far out there these guys were at this time of their lives. Beautiful and inspiring. Exploring the things nobody is capable of exploring using words. Words aren't much usually, not compared to sound otherwise.
walking dinosaurs heard these sounds millions of years ago all over the plains all over the world as the early humans first discovered communicating with all kinds of percussive objects
Space can be either exploration or borderline manic at times. I appreciate the flaws. Agreed the duel drums was not that great, considering Mick was hitting shin guards. lol
People don't go deep enough into their grooves because the norm is used to something more repetitive for a back beat which they dont do too often it can sound off if that's what's your ears are missing
The rhythms are off and the technique is Ok. Prince drum solos are incredible however...... I do like the Grateful dead but no for the musicianship just the good vibes! I miss Gerry!!!
Gotta disagree man, the music isn't about great technique or being perfect. They're listening on each other and reacting and allowing it to take them in different musical directions. It's like a musical conversation that can go wherever it wants☮
It’s about improvisation, good times, and how it sounds. Raw talent isn’t everything (or even anything). Beatles weren’t the best musicians but they’re a damn good band

You may not have liked it a lot, but "hitting shin guards" as you put it, fit in perfectly.

Appreciate the flaws because through them come unexpected mutations and creativity for sure. I also see this in Hendrix and page
Who's here because theyve watched Tucker Carlson on Joe Rogan

His name is JERRY
..and like Oprah said “we speak your name” hahaha
They're quite good drummers. This isn't supposed to be a "drum solo"... It's meant to be hypnotic and meditative
Dead ahead
They definstely were not the best musicians lol just a band that was good to listen to while high out of your mind thats the only hype to them

I love the Grateful Dead while sober
Jerry Garcia is a guitar god I don’t get this comment at all.
