Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Modi emigrated with his family to the United States at the age of seven and was raised on Long Island. In 2018, Mayor Bill De Blasio declared June 26th 'Mordechi Modi Rosenfeld Day' in the city of New York for his accomplishments and contributions to the artistic community.

Great episode, two highly knowledgeable Jews with very different beliefs -- yet both are absolute masters of the comedy craft. Great to see you have Ari on here, and was amazed to see he was on the bill for the Coney Island show last night -- which congrats on, very well pulled off. (However, half the crowd leaving during Robert Smigel's piece, which he clearly put a lot of effort into, and during the most animated Jeff Ross set I've ever seen, was pretty appalling...but like Dave and Ari both pointed out -- the real fans stayed. I have no idea what the other half of the crowd was doing there)
