In your opening prayer why didn't you just pray for the Holy Spirit to come down and dwell with each individual that has been gathering together this morning? Why would you ever knock a prayer of salvation? Doesn't it speak in the book of Romans of this action of asking Jesus to save us? Indeed it does. You must also walk your life out according to the will of God and reflect the true nature of God in every action. Eating bread and drinking wine is not biblically sound for salvation. Jesus said do this in remembrance of me. He did not say do this and be saved.
