He said to use raw milk dip cotton into it and apply it on face. This doesn't work, never heard or remember anyone saying it works to remove dark spots. But you can use rice water. Rice water has worked great for tons of women to brighten up their skin but you need to be patient and use it everyday. Also depends on what kind of acne and how much hyperpigmentation do you have. If you have melasma, everything he said DOESN'T AND WONT WORK.
He said to use potato slices for dark spots. Few years ago I used to use, potato slices too. It does work to some extent BUT it only helped reducing the size of the pimples but didn't get rid of post pigmentation you get after pimples.
I used use tea tree gel as a cheaper skin care alternative for pimple and pimple marks. You can use it too. It's affordable. But make sure properly moisturize after that as tea tree gel does dry out your face. I used to apply tea tree gel only on my pimples.
Then he said to use lemon/ lemon juice PLZ AVOID PUTTING LEMON ON YOUR FACE. IT WILL CAUSE ALOT OF IRRITATION AND DRYNESS WHICH simply creates more problems than solving any.
Look into Korean skincare they are affordable
