I just found and picked this up at Target today. I was a huge fan of Dungeons and Dragons and had about 80% of the vintage LJN figures when I was a kid. NECA is knocking this line out of the park.
That's funny I also had Crystar and Zarak and had no idea where they came from. Warduke though was my go to bad guy. Reminded me of the Jun Horde in Beastmaster.
You don't need to be a fan to collect their action figures. For me it comes down to having the space. I'll buy things i am a fan of first. If there's room I'll buy a couple cool looking action figures.
Has anyone gotten the backpack on? For as tough as it was to get the shield on with its custom-shaped hand and leather strap, the backpack is nigh impossible.
Sorry, to be more specific, I meant if anyone had any pointers on how to do it. Since my comment, I managed to do it. For anyone wondering, I VERY gently wiggled and bent the tab on the backpack until it was less flush with the pack, and then slid it through the leather strap. No heating or anything. I think it's metal, so it has a bit of bend to it, but I've also read that others owners have broken the tab this way, so be careful.
One of the worst QC figures I’ve ever seen from NA and that’s saying something. The backpack clip broke when I barely touched it so did the knife pouch. Luckily it came with so many weapons otherwise I would’ve been so mad.

This is my favorite of Neca's D&D figures so far. The sculpt, paint, and accessories are all top notch.
I don't preorder much, but this one is a great bang for the buck with all those accessories

I had this original figure when I was a kid too

The back pack clip broke when I barely bent it on the back have it staying on just by the indentation left over really pathetic QC
I accidentally broke strap to hang backpack on but plan on gluing it back on so I can have sporting his backpack
