This regenerative receiver was designed for the 40m amateur radio band, the perfect project for beginners in homebrew radio receivers. This is what later became the Sputnik Regenerative Receiver.
The receiver in the video was built based on my first experiments to improve an old schematic. I would recommend you to read the blog article and also check the latest schematic and PCB design.
