I felt high watcging the first episode of this season and quickly decided to not watch the rest so getting to see the eliminations makes me feel alot better🤣
I could not believe that Alexander and Keala went out when they did, it was way too early. I thought Keala was gonna come second and the first time I heard Piranha sing I knew he was gonna win but I thought it was Jamie Cullen or Lee Ryan
I liked bubble tea though when the mask came off and it was Julia and they shouted mummy and Jennifer said darling, because they were in Ab Fab, dippy egg was Nicki Campbell and Davina also fell over came over having a hug after long break since she last saw him in long lost family
I think where Bigfoot was concerned, too many people treated it as a popularity contest instead of a singing show. I'd have boycotted Season 6 if he had won.
I knew I knew Piranha's voice but couldn't place it then as soon as Davina guessed Danny I went "Of course, thats who it is" then couldn't believe she didn't stick with it!
I hope in the next series, a doctor who favourite joins the line up and please don't comment Billie Piper she doesn't want to sing anymore she prefers the life as a actress.

Same thing happened to her on the American version. As Dionne said herself, her voice is too distinctive. Everyone knew it was her from the first moment and that's no use to a game that's ostensibly about guessing identities from random clues.

I mean Alex Brooker was instantly recognisable to a UK audience but made it too the final. Dionne probably had it in her contract the costume wasn't particularly going to be chosen by younger members of the audience who like the cute ones. Was Gloomy soon as she was in bottom two reckon the stipulation was vote her out 😊
I was underwhelmed by this season ngl, my favourite was Cricket but knew he wouldn’t win and predicted he would come 3rd last night, Bigfoot 2nd and Piranha 1st. In fact I knew literally who all of the celebrities this year were by week 4 (even Nicky Campbell). By week 7 after AirFryer was eliminated I knew how the seasons close would end. By then I lost all excitement as it was obvious Danny Jones would win (although I really like him, in the final I felt his song choices were the weakest and didn’t showcase his voice in the best way ‘Lay me down’ was way too serious of a song (I wanted to hear a song that wasn’t a power ballad), I wanted to hear Danny have a bit of fun and sing a song like ‘Pure Shores’ or something a bit more pop rocky like a Busted song (‘Year 3000’ or ‘Air Hostess’ (the latter would have been soo hysterical))). I find it very coincidental that last year Charlie Simpson from Busted won despite everyone (judges included) knowing who he was and this year Danny Jones from McFly wins. I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorist but this does seem very convenient (why couldn’t they both be in the same season). But yeah when I knew it was Danny back in week 2, I knew he was gonna win and now two members of male pop rock/punk bands of the 2000s have won in a row. It makes me miss seasons 2 and 3 where I legit didn’t know who was gonna win. I hope there is a bit of a shakeup next year, I would love to see some new faces (maybe even panellists) and artists that are not as immediately obvious as this year and even include people who are not known for singing who have great voices.
At this point, I'm of the firm belief there's a care home for has-beans, one "hit" wonders & almost were but not really. And every so often, a show like this or strickly will come along & they'll have the stage manager go in & wave a £5 note in the air & see which "celebrity" is desperate enough. I knew 3 people in this video & only 1 of them used to be world famous, even after i saw their faces & heard their names, i was still like Conor: "Who the fook is tha guy"

Fun show but the most disappointing season celeb-wise, half of them could have been Barry from the chip shop for all I knew.
