- In today's video we put together the Lil Rascal DIY Mini Bike Kit from Go Power Sports with a tillotson 212 and built our own header. This mini bike kit comes with everything you need to have a rolling frame. At the end Lonnie & Braxton take it for timed trials. I would compare the size of this mini bike to doodle bug db30. I love go power sports but they really need to lower the price if they want to sell
They need to lower all their prices since they just sell the same Chinese stuff you can buy on amazon or fleabay for well over half their cost.

@@user-neo71665 And they say support local business. I would bet they don't sell the volume needed because people buy on the jungle site. Some, I would argue most, of the items they sell, are made in Texas like the minibike and go-kart frames and the specific parts like top plates, etc.
@@Nowayjose-z2r The do have a few special parts they make in house but most of everything else is still Chinese crap with a huge markup. I get they buy the crap and ship it over and have to make money on it. I've ordered parts from them and it's cheap chinese crap I coulda ordered 2 day from amazon. They try to make too big of a deal about how they are an american company and from texASS but at the end of the day they just the middle man for Chinese crap.
Yeah it’s cool and all but for $695 without an engine is highway robbery.
And no suspension... Lonnie looked like he might need some ice on his grown after taking that on the grass for 30 seconds.
Ryan Watkins It’s crazy what people will spend money on, Especially a useless mini bike like this unless it’s for a toddler. For $695 for a frame could get you 2 Coleman mid size mini bikes or 2 Baja warriors used of course.

For a used minibike or go kart frame, yes. But not for a brand new one. That takes work to make these.
You could probably home build one yourself for half of the price.
I like the idea of a DIY mini bike kit, but for that price point not including the motor or mods makes for $1,000 mini bike project. Compared to a Coleman from tractor supply is $599. Thanks for doing the video, but I’d like to see a lower price before I spend the money.
Yeah its easier to just find a complete frame and just buy the motor etc
It’s cheaper to buy a trail master if you upgrade it (which most people will)... not worth it IMO.

I see a lot of monster moto e1000 for sale about 150-100bucks, just remove the electric box and it's the same roller as their gas versions and there are a lot of videos on TH-cam of people dropping predator 212s in them.
So maybe 250 total with new engine and a day or 2 of building.....
Well do u live near a place called quitman GA there's a junk yard there. We're I bought me a murry mini bike frame for 30bucks with a 301cc on it. All I had todo was rebuild the carb an get 2 tires an a seat
Bought a ct200u clone kit diy for 250$ included everything except the motor which was another 200 shipped
Just bought a complete Baja blitz minus the carb and air box for $150 it’s just a 3hp but that’s fine for my 8 year old daughter. Parts are on the way and I’ve already tore it apart and painted it. Putting it back together tomorrow. Also order a new chain and brake caliper so all together about $200

Nope. Not even close to be affordable.
Yeah, that seems to be the sales pitch GPS gave all their partners on TH-cam to use. Buts really not affordable, especially not right now.

I bought the Coleman cc100x from Walmart for $279 plus shipping, bought the 212 hemi predator from Harbor Freight for $124.99. Stage One for GPS with shipping for $108 total gives me half the cost of the Lil Rascal and it is very similar in size and performance plus I have a brand new 100cc engine to boot. Love you RBG, and GPS but I agree just cant spend 1k for this.
Installing the grips onto the foot rests with water makes things alot easier. It's an old bicyclist 'a trick yet effective.
Make a bolt on chopper front end for it. Little rascal mini chopper would be sick

the trick to putting grips on or peg grips spray a little Windex in it and it will slide right on then it will help it stick when its dry

I hate to be that guy but in this instance, ill make an exception. If you are selling a used minibike frame, its not worth more than 400$. Same with a used yard kart frame. Im not paying more than 400 for a used go kart that was not made for the track, or for offrading with suspension. Please do yourself a favor and have realistic pricing for second hand markets.

I would think for nearly 700$ the company would clean up all the weld joints. A 7 year old could do better.

For how much it costs I'd rather buy a trail master MB 200. Already have a Coleman CT 200 u ex
Have a Coleman 200 and the Trailmaster MB200-2. Obviously I bought the Coleman first and man I wish I had two of the Trailmasters now. I live in a ROUGH area and that little bit of suspension makes all the difference in the world.

I'm assuming you guys got all this gear for free, and that you made the video because GPS sent you the gear to promote it. Its one thing to use GPS hardware on one of your restoration, repair, or custom build videos, its another to just make commercials for whatever they send you. It speaks volumes about your interest in this product, that you put a $12 rattle can paint job on $1000 worth of gear, without even color matching to the seat or air filter. Red powder would have set that build off. I like your videos, and I will remain subscribed, but I'm not here for commercials for GPS. The tone in the comments is pretty negative....

With the motor hard mounted to the mounting plate like that do you get a lot of vibration? I put a predator in a three wheeler and it vibrates awful. Shakes my hands to bad to hold at high rpm.
Love your videos! Can you tell me what performance carbs I can put on a GX240 Honda 8.0 Hp? I love the look of the Nibbi carbs but I haven't gotten any idea if any of them would perform well on it. Thanks -Pete
That looks like about 80 bucks worth of steel 25 bucks of electrical and 300 worth of motor and clutch.Canadian dollars.

To everyone complaining that it's overpriced........come on! Come out with something better for a lower price! This kit is sturdier and more thought out than the cheap models you keep naming.

No engine, no exhaust, no fenders, no suspension for $700?!?!? Hopefully he misunderstood that price, nobody in their right mind would pay that when there are soooo many other choices of completel bikes out there for less money. Very bad decision for gps
That's a cool little bike! I know the feeling of sketchy with my old Dixie Flyer with a degoverned GX200 on it and that short wheel base. I've hit 42MPH on mine and I am over 275lb. It's exciting and hair-raising at the same time.

Its neat but for off road, those little tires and tiny frame are not going to cut it. Also i doubt you could put a torque converter kit on it. Way to small and WAY to expensive. Also, no way it handles well dude. Sketchy as hell.

Yeah looks like it.. a few seconds later I think you can see the swing arm. Rear suspension would be cool on that bike! -Edit. Maybe it wast after that. I thought I saw the swingarm somewhere.. 🤔

Did you hear his comment at 4:48 in that video? They didn't like the 60 tooth. Said something about "more top end" with the 50.
They must not have did that uphill test. The 60 would beat the 50 tooth there, even with the 10 tooth on the TAV.

The solid bar footpegs scare the crap out of me. Young'un will dip one into the dirt, it will dig in & the bike will go flying, probably on top of the kid. Please lop those off & put some folding pegs on it.
