I've had mine since Sept. Been riding quite a bit up in New England. Very good bike for the price. Not sure there's a better deal out there. I'm loving the grip and stability of those tires.
I've been looking at this bike and it seems really good for the price. Do you ride aggressive trails by chance? I was thinking of doing more aggressive riding with it. I also live in the New England area
Hello, I really can’t decide between this bike or diamond back heist 3.0, I’d appreciate it if you could let me know how the bike is with those tyres and drop post please? Good vid!
It truly depends on the type of riding you plan on doing. The Fathom is more of a XC bike and would be better for climbing since the head tube angle is steeper. It would not perform as well on prolonged descents or extremely technical terrain. On the other hand, the Roscoe 8 is back-ordered everywhere until about the middle of May, but would be a better bike for shorter climbs and longer, more technical descents. I would strongly encourage test riding both to see which one you like. I hope this was helpful.
New to these bikes. Was around in 88 and rode what are now called "full rigid steel". We rode tire pressure of 40-65 lbs, rock hard for just about everything. What are these new pressures like? 18 lbs sounds very low to me but what do I know. We were riding Farmer John's back then.
@@donnovicki9771 Those low pressures are with the plus sized tires (2.8") set up tubeless. With non plus sized tubeless tires I run high 20's to 30 psi usually depending on the terrain.
Got mine 2months now and every ride brings fun.

I ride park with mine so it is regularly tossed around by going off huge jumps and drops and I've had no problems other than dropping a chain.
I want a Roscoe 8 but they're out of stock and my bike shop's only got the 7, nowhere near the value of the 8. :(
I just went ahead and pre-ordered mine they said I have to wait until February lol ....my poor hybrid is getting beat the hell up lol
Do these trails loop. Around back to the parking lot
Yes, there are a number of trails that take you in a loop to the parking lot.
Nice
Just got a Roscoe. Nice ride!

What tire pressures are you running?

Its called Jake's Rocks. Right by Warren, PA. It is definitely worth it and even has three new downhill trails with some good features.
@@stevoaw dew drop just opened up part way down longhouse, its really nice.
Do you have any info or links on it? The last I knew there was only an out and back hiking trail there.
