Just that the inheritors of those colonizers have still not learnt to acknowledge those crimes committed by their ancestors, and instead have largely normalized them.

I work as a Mental Health Practitioner with the original custodians of Australia, the amazing Aboriginal community. I feel like I go home to work and cannot be more humbled to know them so closely. Extremely sad history. I'm a witness to intergenerational trauma and its effects observed even today. Proud of the resilience they have portrayed, its definitely not for faint hearted. My prayers are with them now and always.

Ranveer, their tantrums is mostly like praying to the nature to protect the nature and gratitude for the blessings it provides them. Most of their ancient knowledge is similar to our Ayurvedic knowledge.
I have worked with an Aboriginal school where I had a chance to connect with the elders of an indigenous group. She was praising our culture and could connect with me and said they had herbs similar to ours. Such as turmeric - lemon Myrtle.
