  • This must-see video by Tom Bish, provides a complete, end to end LIVE demonstration of the Real Time Detection of Ransomware that IBM FlashSystem FlashCore Modules can instantly help mitigate and stop an infection in its early tracks. Done in IBM's Poughkeepsie, New York WW Flash lab with VMware VM's using both VMDK and RDMA volumes on a IBM FlashSystem 5300 with Virtualize code 8.7 and Brocade 32Gb SAN. Narrated by Andrew Greenfield. You will see that the FCM modules, by literally watching the write activity, can be a powerful early warning about infection, and then by using Safeguarded Snapshots and other tools, such as IBM Defender, can rapidly restore full operations.

Maybe you wanted say Raw Device Mapping (RDM) volume (a volume assignmnet method used in the vSphere VMware ESXi environment) instead of RDMA (Remote DMA) which is a technical term to refer a specific connection technology.
