Incredible band, total Gojira ending, but still really cool. And yes Alissa is great to look at, but an amazing vocalist and frontwomen as well. I'm not sure why this band isn't huge yet...
She is actually a very good singer, and especially since she has to mix between growling and actually singing all the time I doubt many could do the same thing. But I have mostly heard them on studio versions, and some bad quality live versions here on TH-cam so really hearing them live might be different (in the live versions I have heard she actually is a little disappointing, but as I said she's mixing between growling and singing all the time and that can't be easy, and studio = remastered)

If you look at a lot of bands of a similar genre to The Agonist, most of them can barely keep up with what the produce on album. They sound great on a CD but once you hear them live you realize they don't have much to offer when you get passed the shiny records they release. I can respect the fact that this singer works hard on her voice and it does show in her performances.
i think Candice from Eths got Alissa beat in the Growl department though... Not saying Alissa isn't good, even Angela from Arch Enemy could take lessons from her. Hell, there's alot of Male Vocalists that should take some advice.
Her vocals sound 100x better and more brutal in the studio version. Her screams here sound like they have no depth, and has a weird tone. I like The Agonist though, not the best live, but some good songs, like this one.

"Alissa cant move for shit on stage" Is meant like "She is very bad at moving on stage" "She looks like she's having a seizure or something" is meant like "Bitch got a seizure". Did that clear up things for you?
