Snubber
Snubber know as pulsation dampener.
Snubber is used with pressure gauge when process pressure is pulsating or having pressure fluctuations.
Due to pulsating pressure gauge life can reduced.
Gauge Cock
Gauge cock is an economical method for isolating the pressure instrument from the process fluid. It is kind of Isolation valve
It is Generally used for low pressure application below 25 kg/cm2.
Gauge Cock is not used above 25 kg/cm2 Pressure.
Gauge Saver
Gauge saver is also called as pressure limiting valve. Gauge saver prevents the gauge from over pressure.
The gauge saver is used where the process pressure can exceed the over range of Pressure Gauge.
The gauge saver shuts off the pressure to the gauge in case of over range pressure and thus it prevents the damage of sensing element of measuring device,
Syphon
The high temperature of process media like steam can affect the performance of a measuring instrument. The Syphons are answer to this problem.
Syphons are used to protect pressure gauge from high temperature of process fluids. Syphon reduce the service temperature of process fluid entering to gauge so that measuring element exposed to lower temperature.
condensation of the pressure medium collected inside the coiled portion of the siphon prevents direct contact with the external media.
Gauge Adapter
Gauge Adapters are used for connecting instruments and accessories with different types of connection sizes or threads.
Conversion of male to female or female to male connection is possible by using gauge adapter.
Heat Necks
hot process application is having 100 Deg C or more, the heat necks can be used to prevent pressure measuring instrument
The heat neck can be up to 150 mm long with having multiple cooling fins.
The various designs available in heat necks, depending on the temperature in the process, The Standard heat necks are 100 to 150mm long with cooling fins. Heat Necks are suitable for temperatures for up to 300 Deg C.
