Only recently found you online, because I’m returning to knitting after a 20-year absence. Plus I’m 81 and have memory issues. So! You two have been my companions along my sometimes rocky path to remembering knitting and actually knitting. I’m glad I found you and yet today’s news that Andrew’s unwell - really is sick - upset me. I wish it wasn’t so! I wish such beautiful people would never suffer - but I am aware the awful outcome is long over - but it’s new to me. Bless you Andrea for continuing teaching and blessings for Andrew in his new home with the highest power, however you believe it and call it. I’m here for showing you my deepest appreciation. 🙏🏼🥰❤️
You two are such a wonderful sight for sore eyes. Seeing you together always makes me feel better. I am praying every night for a miracle to happen for your family and Andrew's illness to be cured. You are still on the prayer list at my gran's little Baptist church so you've got a whole lot of good people praying for your speedy recovery. Know beyond anything that you two have brought so much knowledge, understanding, and joy to so many people. I hope you guys stay safe through the Christmas season and have a lovely new year spending time with your closest loved ones. Be blessed.
Wow you guys are a blessing,I have a fruityknitting list of things I want to knit and it’s getting longer thanks to guys,I am a believer and it’s sad that Andrew is nolonger with us but it is well.🙏🏿🙏🏽🙏🏻☹
The jacket is beautiful. You are the only one who notices the errors. They are design elements, to anyone else. Prayers are continuing. Praying for the new year to show improved health and comfort.
So happy to see you! A real Christmas gift- thank you. Thank you for your candor about your faith. I too lean on mine, so I feel comfortable sharing that I think and pray for you every day. My children go to Catholic school, and each day they ask the class to “pray for Mommy’s friends Mr. Andrew and Mrs. Andrea.” So all the way in metro Atlanta, Georgia, USA, you have 56 kids praying for you on the daily. May you feel all the love your viewers are sending to you. Merry Christmas.
Praying for your family and for Andrew’s health specifically. Thanks for your lovely podcasts and sharing what you’re going through as a family. We appreciate your honesty and vulnerability.

Wonderful show and good to see Andrew in fine form. I am hooked on the Danish knitting patterns, and love those split hems. So nice to see Madeline again, talking expertly about her knitting - just like her lovely Mum. Love you all. ❤️
Amazing podcast with so much fantastic information. Your jacket is absolutely stunning! Most of all, my continuing prayers for stable and improving health. Thanks you residually Andrea for sharing the gift that faith is for you in all of this. It touched my heart deeply.

it's so nice to see you two / three today. as always i enjoyed your you tube video. I myself am recovering from two years of breast cancer treatments and I won. I have just been declared clean. Continue to believe in yourself and your strength. Andrea, I want to say to you that I would never have made it without the tremendous support, patience, and infinite love of my wonderful husband. So often it is forgotten that without you (spouses, family) it is actually almost impossible to bear. I admire the love I see in your eyes when you look at Andrew and I saw that in the eyes of my dear husband. it should be said much more often. Of course, all the attention goes to the person who is sick and the partner does not get enough attention, which is also badly needed. I wish the three of you a very Merry Christmas and that 2021 will be full of strength, love, and very much beautiful things. much love Dolores❤️❤️❤️
Andrew, I think about you every day! It is so special to see you and receive a status update on your well being. The love and support you have within your family is such a blessing. Sending all the best wishes possible for health, happiness and joy today and always! ❤
It was so great to see you both today. That you have taken precious time to produce yet another episode is both inspiring and very humbling. Despite what life has handed you, you still manage to remain upbeat and positive. So nice to hear you talk about faith Andrea, faith is tremendously empowering, it will support and sustain you throught the most difficult of times, as will your obvious love for each other. May I take this opportunity to thank you both for the tremendous continuing contribution you have made to the Knitting community, and for the pleasure you provided for so many, many knitters around the world. Long may you both continue. Wishing you all a very Happy and Peaceful Christmas, with many bright days in the future. Michelle UK

Hi from Canada 🇨🇦. I started watching all your podcasts from the beginning. I am on episode #48. But had to watch this one before continuing. I am happy that things are better with Andrew, keep positive with your faith and believe. You are such a fabulous knitter, love everything you knit. I’ve been knitting for many years, but haven’t done colourwork yet. Wishing you all the best for the NewYear 🤗.
I was impatiently waiting for this new episode. For two reasons: to know how Andrew was doing and to see the Danish nightshirts. It's good to see how you stay positive in these hard times! Thank you.
Your sweater looks better than the original and nobody would see any mistakes unless you will show it, it's an awesome job and it looks perfect on you. Best and warmest wishes to your family, stay strong and positive, best wishes and prayers.
I am so happy to see you and am sending much love and prayers. This podcast has given my day an uplift. I am looking after my husband (81) at home, who has cancer and severe COPD and is on oxgen 24/7. Thank you so much. Love.
So nice to see you all again. Our hearts go out to you. Thank you for another lovely video. I love the Danish nightshirts. What elegant sweaters. When I see sweaters like these, it motivates me to continue on with my knitting to, hopefully, someday be able to knit something so beautiful. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
What a wonderful episode again. Thank you so so much! I could write a book about what was special to me. But here is just a little story: I really enjoyed the new interview with Vivian. The subject was so very interesting. I was touched when she talked about opening a box of those sweaters in the museum. I experienced a moment like that in a museum in Dresden when I opened a drawer and found old cotton bands knitted in a very small gage and in all kinds of patterns. That was the way to learn patterns and save them for a lifetime (or longer) at a time whem most people couldn't write or read. Unfortunately in war times they cut those bands up to use it as dishcloths or whatever else was needed. So there aren't many left at all. When I saw those bands in the museum I kneed down and just looked at them for about 2 hours and didn't wanna leave. I thought those few pieces are so very, very precious! So big thanks to Vivian. Just one sentece of her interview brought up wonderful memories and the feeling of deepest awe of historical crafts.
What a special, selfless gift you two have given us viewers. In a time when you are going through hard things, you two put out a new episode. I am late watching but I appreciate it all the same. Don’t worry about making us episodes, we all understand that there are more important things going on in your life! Beautiful sweater, mistakes and all! Sending much love and prayers.
On my own except for Louis my Griffon Bruxellious this Christmas Day here in Eltham Victoria Australia 🇦🇺 and it is so lovely to have you pop in to my lounge to make my Christmas Day. My family will come over on Sunday and we will celebrate being together after being apart for too many months in our Village Community Hall which other ladies and their families have already set up for this time of the year. An extra gift each family will receive from me are the crocheted scrubby/dishcloths I have been making these past two days. All the very best to you Andrew and extra strength for you Andrea. Huge hugs 🤗 from one Aussie to two special knitting ambassadors
Oh my, that was a beautiful programme. Stories you are telling are so interesting. I am amazed by richness of knitting traditions. Thank you for sharing with us about your faith, it is a big part of my life too. I am back to knitting after 35 years because I stopped doing it in my teenage years long time ago. I knit in Eastern European style as I am from Poland and because I live in Scotland now, I am learning everything in English, which can be tricky. I have to say I adore your accent and the way you speak. Thank you for sharing your talents. I will keep you in my prayers.
I first heard about Fruity Knitting on the Grocery Girls podcast, and I zoomed over to listen to episode 108. I fell in love with you all at that moment, and Madeline too, of course. Then I went back to episode 1 and I'm binge-watching through, just like someone would binge-watch a show they adored on Netflix! I am learning so so much about sheep, fiber, knitters around the world, garment construction, designers and so much more. I've been knitting for around 5 years, but only socks and accessories. But now I'm brave enough to start a sweater, and I'm bringing another new knitter along with me. Thank you for all the hard work you put into making these episodes so great! Wishing you all the best as you navigate Andrews health. Wishing you health and happiness in the New Year!!

What a wonderful gift to have a new episode from you on Christmas Eve. I've thought a lot about your beautiful family over the past weeks and gone back to binge the episodes from the very beginning to beam good energy back at you. Keep well!
What a pleasure to have a new episode. Inspiring knitting, interesting culture, beautiful episode. What a treasure Vivian is! Your family is in my heart. ❤
You are three beautiful people and I think of you so often. You are known round the world, therefore a prayer network is working on your behalf. I started watching knitting and sewing podcasts a few years ago and was surprised to discover my favorites are presenters who eventually share with viewers their deep faith in God. Your sweater jacket is perfect because you have the expertise and daring to change patterns, and garment fit and stitches are so perfect. Thank you for this full of spirit Christmas video. Wishing you all strength and better health in weeks ahead.
Thank you for sharing with us. I feel concern and send prayers and love over and over. You have been a lifeline of joy and positive energy at times for me. I hope we can all do that for you. Wishing you a wonderful new year.
Such a joy to see you all together, thank you for this lovely podcast, and I continue to keep you all covered in prayer. Your sweaters are all beautiful, and this is the year I want to make a Marie Wallin sweater, because of your inspiring knitting. Bless you all, 🌻

Hello A & A. I came back from surgery just 2 days ago. I am lying in my bed feeling the pain. It has been a struggle. But here you are. You two are brightening up my day! Good to see you.

What a wonderful gift to have a new episode from you on Christmas Eve. I've thought a lot about your beautiful family over the past weeks and gone back to binge the episodes from the very beginning to beam good energy back at you. Keep well!
LOVED this episode! Especially the nightshirt part of it! Keep up the good job and may Andrew's health improve! Love! ❤️
The jacket is just perfect as it is. Actually, it looks really quite elegant as you reinvented it. Prayers for you both my dear.
Thank you for sharing with us. I feel concern and send prayers and love over and over. You have been a lifeline of joy and positive energy at times for me. I hope we can all do that for you. Wishing you a wonderful new year.
Merry Christmas! Thank you for the gift of your podcast today. You are thought of often and are in my prayers.
Thank you all for the lovely gift of sharing your time and humanity in this podcast. May you be held gently but firmly in your faith.
So happy to have seen the FruityKnitting family. Sending love to you all xx
Thank you so much for the update on Andrew's situation. Still working spiritually on your behalf.
Much love for all three of you.
Lovely to see you and your family together. I loved the segment on the Danish Sweaters. It is very inspiring. Have a blessed Holiday Season.
Such a joy to see you all together, thank you for this lovely podcast, and I continue to keep you all covered in prayer. Your sweaters are all beautiful, and this is the year I want to make a Marie Wallin sweater, because of your inspiring knitting. Bless you all, 🌻
Good to see you; will continue to pray for healing for Andrew!
