Why do people feel so threatened regarding their firearms? It's a constitutional law for goodness sakes. Gun control legislation isn't to take away U.S. citizens right to own guns. While there may be some in this country who want that fact changed, it's a really small minority. Even those campaigning for gun control do not want to change the righr to own firearms, They only want restrictions for those who have a violent history and/or serious mental health problems, or to monitor fully automatic weapons sales. These are two pieces of information that can help uncover potential mass shootings before they occur, which is a positive for everybody.
@@burningdaylights Hi. Thank you for responding. I have never met anyone, in over sixty-nine years, who believed that only the military should own firearms. I will take your word that they exist though, and just say that I bet they're a minority. The entire world seems to forget or so it appears, that in a nation where citizens have rights and freedoms, there must be compromise and negotiation in order to remain united and free. I support gun rights and ownership. I also know the irreparable damage a couple of automatic weapons in the hands of someone mentally unstable can create. We are an intelligent, advanced nation who can do a little better at eliminating the problems while maintaining our gun ownership rights. It doesn't really need to be a 100% all or nothing proposition. IMHO.

Unless there’s some type of legal restriction, the resident/would-be-victim should get a gun or something. Grab a knife!! That other guy THREATENED HIM, FORCIBLY ENTERED his HOUSE and went SEARCHING for him. That’s CRAZY!!!
No one is asking why the dude was looking for him.
Why say he was going to r a p e him? What did the victim do that warranted that kind of threat?
@@romarose:
The first question is, what did he think the victim had done; the next questions are, whether the victim had done anything at all, and, if so, what?
He wasn't threatened when he went out. 😂

Dumb move! You don’t have unlimited privilege and the person who evaded the crank without weapons saved themselves a lot of hassles and helped catch the intruder.

In Utah we have something called the castle doctrine
I thought I heard it wrong but in the 2nd watching of this clip I heard it right the first time. He said the suspect kicked down the door and threatened to rape and murder another man. This situation by itself is a very clear example of why we need to have the right (not privilege) to have our firearms and literally defend our asses and our lives.
LBGT to the rescue... of the predator.
@@kilodeltawhisky1504 Well you do realize that gun control is just OSHA for criminals.

Exactly, I had to rewatch to make sure I was hearing that right. That’s absolutely disgusting and agreed this is why our 2nd amendment is so important!

Even though I'd be somewhat baffled hearing that I'm pretty sure it's gonna make it waaay worse for that intruder when I process what I just heard, dafuq is wrong with some people these days?
And we all know what the outcome would be when the cops finally roll up... Creepy dude would get a pass and a lawsuit and I'd be looking at 25+ even if I don't unalive him, we are definitely living in BIZARRO WORLD 100%...

Intoxication shouldn't be used as an excuse anymore.

If you can't own a firearm then get a couple of Pittbulls, or Rottweilers these breeds a very protective of their families
Boxers make great guard dogs also!
Pit bulls are smaller. I'd say Presa Canaria, Cane Corso , Boz Shepard something in excess of 150 lbs !!
Yep when an assailant all drugged up - tried to enter my home - my two big AmStaff’s went nuts! The male (normally a sweet pussycat) went nuts! He would’ve eaten the guy to protect me! Good Dogs! But I was ready to defend myself & them. Good thing the police showed up before the violent criminal gained entry. Good thing for him that is…. You have to be nuts to ignore two big Dogs viciously barking and growling in the window next to the front porch & continue to try & kick a steel door in…just saying. No way the guy didn’t hear them, he’d have to be stone deaf not to. And I didn’t know this guy from Adam! Crazy is everywhere these days. Even quiet neighborhoods…

Scary because the victim had to hide like a scared little lamb. Having a home protection firearm could change the balance.

Only alcohol.... drugs have to be involved😮😮😮
No weapon? No castle law in Utah? Try that in Colorado. Yes, there are still some sane laws here. If a person breaks the plane of your home, any force is justified.
Something like this qualifies your 2A RIGHTS..
Why would some random guy kick in a random house to threaten the other guy? This sounds suspicious
Drunk and with a history of criminal behavior, it would be more suspicious if he finished probation without an incident
Regardless, nobody has the right to threaten another person!!
I was wondering the same thing....
he obviously knows the guy that lives there..... not a random house
@@davidnichols565 you're trying to apply reason and rationality to an unreasonable, irrational person. Drunks often show up at the wrong house. I voted for "he slipped" and call an ambulance but was outvoted. He knew people that lived there 2 years before we did and the landlord already had a trespassing warrant against him.
Not necessarily. Believe me ! Now. The newest drug referred to as liquid meth is a can of eaap spray inhaled. Creates similar behaviors as pcp. Doors must be criminalized, it's the only way to keep people safe.
Welcome to the internet. If you spend some time here, you'll find plenty who think only the military should have weapons.
IMHO.
