I am SO grateful for MY neighbors! From day 1, whenever it snowed, my neighbors came and shoveled out my driveway for me. Several years later, I became disabled. They have repaired my fence when the wing had blown it down. The trimmed all the bushes in my yard. And now, one neighbor take my trash out to the street each week, and returns them to my door when they are emptied. I never asked for these things. My neighbors just do them out of kindness. I truly love them all. They are such wonderful people! I am blessed to have them in my life!

@@Rick_Sanchez_C137_not even just guns tho there are other weapons. If you don't have a clear shot with a short enough range weapon u aren't going to be firing off rounds inside of or out of your home in a tightly populated residential area if no way to know what's beyond your target. a lot of people despite what they think, many people don't perform well and operate firearms well under pressure in real life scenarios it's not like at the range. Sure a gun is an obvious choice he wouldn't have made it very far past my threshold but I would have done a few things differently (not knocking this dude everyone reacts different and impossible to know in a totally random and unplanned situation that evolves over time your perception and the gravity of the situation evolves also, dude obviously didn't think exiting his house would elicit more aggression, once inside he obviously didn't expect the perp to try forcibly gaining entry and probably even less that he'd actually succeed all before LE showed up etc). Just always have a plan one step ahead IN CASE it doesn't play out as predicted, concealment is not a bad strategy, don't give away your position, buys time, and if u come out alive it served it's purpose and you probably chose your spot well. but concealing yourself somehow or taking a good vantage point where u are well concealed or have some degree of limited or difficult accessibility and can still keep eyes on or awareness of the whereabouts of the perp even better the ol sniper "I see u but u cant see me" strategy, take a weapon with u even better gun knife Louisville slugger whatever u got. Ideally if u can make it impossible to be surprised lkke if u won't know where someone is until they're right on top of u or have some realistic exit point options and plans in mind should u have the space between u and them or the time to change locations and put more distance up, whatever buys the most time if needed and whatever gets u out alive will do do whatever it takes but dont shoot up the neighborhood. Soemtimes u get people too afriad to use deadly force in the heat of the moment and then some who are too impulsive and whose judgment clouds and start firing when they shouldn't unfortunately

Why do people feel so threatened regarding their firearms? It's a constitutional law for goodness sakes. Gun control legislation isn't to take away U.S. citizens right to own guns. While there may be some in this country who want that fact changed, it's a really small minority. Even those campaigning for gun control do not want to change the righr to own firearms, They only want restrictions for those who have a violent history and/or serious mental health problems, or to monitor fully automatic weapons sales. These are two pieces of information that can help uncover potential mass shootings before they occur, which is a positive for everybody.

@@burningdaylights Hi. Thank you for responding. I have never met anyone, in over sixty-nine years, who believed that only the military should own firearms. I will take your word that they exist though, and just say that I bet they're a minority. The entire world seems to forget or so it appears, that in a nation where citizens have rights and freedoms, there must be compromise and negotiation in order to remain united and free. I support gun rights and ownership. I also know the irreparable damage a couple of automatic weapons in the hands of someone mentally unstable can create. We are an intelligent, advanced nation who can do a little better at eliminating the problems while maintaining our gun ownership rights. It doesn't really need to be a 100% all or nothing proposition. IMHO.
