Single mother of a now 18 year old son. Just some advice for the single mothers….ENJOY the craziness and love on your child as much as possible. One day the school drop offs stop and that little human that depended on you for everything will go off to live their own life. I have no regrets, but I do miss my son being a kid sometimes. Enjoy it, the struggle don’t last always and when it’s gone you’ll miss all the times. I look at my son now and have random breakdowns like man this crazy I have an adult now😢 but in the same token I’m so excited for him to go live his life. Okay, I’m going to go cry again now😩 lol

Single mom of 3 here. I think the transition was easy for me since I was a single married mom but my one regret is that my kids won’t grow up in a two parent household.
I know my situation isn't the same as many Mothers or people, but these tips also help with "single married" Mom's as well. Moms who deal with it all even tho they could have someone help but the person just is there not helping at all 🤦🏾♀️These definitely helped and made me feel motivated thank you Trophie! 💖

I’m in this situation, but mainly because he works long hours. His time at home is spent resting.
Don’t worry it will all get Better! I’ve experienced a similar circumstance. Unfortunately I had to separate and the divorce is pending! He was very lazy, didn’t want to work, left all the expenses and rent for me to figure out, mind you I was in school and working part-time! He was also abusive! Praise God I’m here and I made it through by faith! Guys he still makes little effort to assist with his daughter! Even in the marriage I was a single mother ! I did it all❤️ my daughter will be 5 soon and he still hasn’t built a proper relationship with her.. he still doesn’t work… I take care of my daughter alone!

There is this stigma when it comes to single moms.I know that we only see a small portion of your life as a single mom but from what I can see you’re doing an amazing job with your boys. love your content.
Your video was excellent. Loved it. I also have my children help with chores that are age appropriate. Children are capable of cleaning and keeping house. I have my children fold their own laundry and keep their own bedrooms clean. I don’t make them clean their rooms everyday, but they know when they finish eating to clean the table and discard of their waste, plus put their plates in the sink. Also, utilize charts they can check off to keep themselves on track, or schedule and a reward system for when they achieve something or are “caught with great behavior”. Loved your video
I like these type of videos def need a part 2. Im a single mom my son is 2 and his dad went ghost during pregnancy and it took a lot for me not to un alive him frfr but im a better person than I was each year and im getting better managing this mommy thang

I’ve been a single mom for about 10yrs now. I’ve kept my kids busy with sports, activities, etc., GOD was ALWAYS first in our household.
I’ve always told my kids “Never Settle” always stay positive and education. My son went to college after high school, but decided to make a different path, and I’ve always told him i was proud. Today he’s working on his own business.
My daughter is now graduating from Spelman College, class of 2024, Suma Cum Laud, made all A’s in High school and college now she’s on her way to Law School.
No one can tell me a single mom can’t do it.

Trophie, I discovered your channel about 2yrs ago when I was expecting my first baby 💛. If I remember correctly, the boys’ Dad worked on the road so he spent a lot of time away. 1. Do you think that was a plus in adjusting to being a single Mom? and 2. Were there signs from your Ex that you overlooked that might’ve indicated he wasn’t going to stick around? Wishing you and your boys happy and healthy lives!
In the process of leaving a 7 year toxic relationship. And will be the single mom life. Will be out of our home at the end of May. And will be moving 2 states away with my family. Thank you for the tips.

Thank you for this video my kids father made me feel like crap for ending the relationship (abusive) He told me I was going to be a single parent etc. he was good dad to his oldest son and I at least though he would show up in that way, boy was I wrong! I had a hard day today and snapped because kids were misbehaving and had been in my room crying all evening for loosing control. Needed this to snap back and move forward positively, self loathing is the devil!
