Y Slab section of trail can be found on the Tarw Du trail. The Tarw Du trail is the only trail that still heads out to the original Coed Y Brenin trail network. The Slab section was put into the existing trail a couple of years ago and offers a totally unique challenge, that you are unlikely to find at any other trail center. The Tarw Du trail is also one of the quieter trails as it breaks away from the rest of the trail network, son on a busy summers day it is certainly worth a visit.
As for the Slabs themselves it is worth having a look at them before you send it straight down them. Having said that they offer an amazing amount of grip and as long as you keep your heels down and shift your weight slightly back they are more than achievable.
