My mind was conflicted like "is it chiquita or is it asa ? is it your strabism or astigmatism ? am I high ?"
This song & video are gorgeous, it’s a bop, it’s a vibe, it’s old school, it’s stunning, it’s nostalgic, it’s fresh, it’s glamorous, it’s creative, it’s swag, it’s classy, it’s retro, it’s incredible! YG wanted Pharita to spread her wings🦋 in the pre-debut videos, as well as continue working on her power ⚡️ … she delivered and then some! But they all 7 truly did! From Ruka goofing a “whisper” in Ahyeon’s ear , all the raps (and the Canny dance!), the vocals, harmonizations, it is incredible! You got it so well…yes, the start = the end…it’s a loop…forever! The lyrics in this are actually sooo well written, with really good meanings. Your interpretation is close, but its at the same time a message to the haters. The chorus says that they are forever and the haters who thought they can bring babymonster down or hoped they will disapear...but the say now it was a dream and it was your, we gonna stay forever. And thats a red line through the whole MV. The 2 verses also had so insane meanings to it, that this song got from 100/10 to a 10000/10

My interpretation is they feel like they are just dreaming this famous and glamorous life so they told themselves don't get too excited and think it's theirs. Ruka whispered to Ahyeon she was born like this (to be famous). At the end the invitations were delivered to them and it may not be a dream for them after all. My short and hopefully understandable explanation. 😊

This song is like IVE”s “After Like” and “I Am” had a baby that raps with the speed of RM. Even the Ahyeon rap part sounds like Rei, and the fist pounding choreo reminded me of “I Am’s” dance. Amazing summer choon. I love the 80s vibes of “Forever Young” in it, too.

End scene, Pharita wakes up, sits up, looks around. The doorbell rings and they all scurry to the door, presumably, Asa if they are expecting something. Same sick beat is playing here as was in opening scene.
Last scene, we see the opened box, a pair of silver heels and an invitation. hmmm? Dream or reality?
