Evidence of Reincarnation

  • Walter Semkiw, MD and Jim Tucker, MD discuss the reincarnation research of Ian Stevenson, MD, which involves children's past life memories that were factually verified. Children's past life cases, in aggregate, provide evidence and proof of reincarnation. These past life stories are presented on ReincarnationResearch.com. Dr. Semkiw also introduces the reincarnation case of Anne Frank | Barbro Karlen. Barbro Karlen relates her childhood past life memories of being Holocaust victim Anne Frank. Barbro was a child prodigy writer, much like Anne, and Barbro has the same facial features as Anne. Anne Frank was persecuted as a Jew by the Nazis, whereas Barbro was born into a Christian family in Sweden 9 years after Anne's death. This case dramatically shows how religion and nationality can change from one lifetime to another, an observation that can transform society and make the world a more peaceful place. Note that if the Nazis knew that one could be born Jewish in one incarnation and Christian in another, then the Holocaust could never have happened. Reincarnation research also shows that we plan lifetimes to be reunited with loved ones & to equalize karma from past life relationships. The James Huston Jr. | James Leininger reincarnation case is also discussed.

Hi John. My understanding is that humans reincarnate only as humans, not animals, as the human soul would not learn much by reincarnating as an animal. Animals have their own path of evolution. This issue is discussed in detail on the following page:
      reincarnationresearch.com/do-we-reincarnate-as-animals-telepathy-with-animals/

    • @ichabod1370
      @ichabod1370 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

And -- we are *already* animals, a species branched off from what became the various ape species that we humanoid apes share the world with now. We're animals with souls that use abstract language, which we need for expressing thoughts that imagine what doesn't exist, and
time that reaches far back into the past (history) and time that reaches far into the far future (cosmology, sci fi). That, really, is the biggest
difference between us and the rest of the animal species that we know of (although it seems quite possible that whales and dolphins may
also have be ensouled as humans are, that is, as individuals pursuing individual spiritual evolution til we all get back together again). We
used to say that "Man is the tool-using animal" and that this, plus the *making* of tools, was one of the characteristics that distinguished usfrom the other animals, but we had to give that up (see the tool making and using feats of the corvids, well documented on the internet).

I wouldn't mind a long rest; and I think you get to take a long rest on the astral interval, if you wish to. But eventually . . . I suspect that for souls
that have been incarnate, the physical plane remains irresistibly attractive until maybe way at the end, when you're a very Old soul who's been
there and done that a thousand times and can't wait to move on. I know one self-identified Old soul who knows he's on his last lifetime, and has
told me, "At this point, nothing keeps me tethered to this world except music."

When our nephew was about 2-21/2 years old, he was speaking pretty well. He was able to express himself well. He use to talk about his ""friend" Wilt Jillson. I ask my sister one day, "whose Wilt Jillson"? and she said, don't you know? I said no, I don't know who he is, I thought you'd know. So this brings us to the point of starting to really talk to my nephew about his "friend", Wilt. He would tell us, " Wilt has 5 kids (just as an example), and he's married to (wife's name), and they live in Kentucky. Our nephew would just go on and on about Wilt, and how much he was his friend, and how much he really loved him. My sister and I began to do a little bit of research, and we were astounded at what we found out. Tommy (our nephew) was exactly right in what he had told us. All the facts he was telling us about Wilt, were absolutely correct. We had to think on this for awhile. We never discouraged Tommy. We just quietly listened when he felt like talking. To Tommy, Wilt was a real, and true friend to him. One day in the Summer time, we were just out for a ride, going down old country lanes, or back roads, just riding. All of a sudden, Tommy said, "stop! stop!, so we did.We were thinking, good lord!! whats wrong!! There was Tommy, pointing cross this plowed up field, and he stood up on the car seat, and was just quietly looking....almost like scanning the area, then he said, "this is where Wilt use to live, but it looks different now". Quietly I ask him, whats different Tommy? He said, there use to be trees over there (he pointed where "over there" was), and his house was built near the trees...and his yard looked "normal" ( i guess that means not plowed up like a field"). but part of what was so remarkable was the look on Toms face. It looked like someone who might look if they haven't seen something or somewhere for sooo long. It was just a look of longing, and of love. He was seeing t his place through his eyes....almost like coming home. He was truly feeling longing for his "friend". As years went on, Tom would talk of Wilt JIllson less and less. He would remember him, but it was different. If you ask him about it, when he was a teenager i guess, Tom would tell you he didn't remember anymore. I think he did, but he was at an age when other kids would tease and make you feel weird, so i think it was just easier for Tommy to say he didn't remember.

I am an atheist and a skeptic. When I was around 4-6 years old I would have recurring dreams of being shot in the head. I still remember them vividly. I was kneeling in a parking area behind an apartment building, there were two men and one had a gun pointed at my head. He pulled the trigger. I was shot in the upper forehead at an angle. I fell but remained conscious for 5-10 seconds, and then the dream would end. Just a few years ago I read something weird about our birthmarks beings remnants of injuries or scars from a past life, and while remembering my childhood dream/nightmare it occurred to me that I have a small mole/birthmark right in the area of my forehead where I remember being shot. As far as I can remember I've always had it. I still remain a bit of a skeptic, or maybe I just dont care enough to believe I dunno. It's perfectly possible that every time I read or watch something about reincarnation my memories subconsciously alter themselves to suit the possibility, tho for what purpose I have no idea. Either way, my own personal "memories" are interesting.

mrfuzzybagels to me reincarnation is the only logical way to look at life and mental, emotional and intellectual evolution of the soul, of our minds. No person or creature is born being as they are physically or personality just because of sheer coincidence. Hi Odisha, you are not the only one who had this happen to. I had a dog which I loved so much who got cancer and had to be put to sleep. I was so saddened by this loss I cried and cried because I loved her so much. The bereavement was so horrible I would lay down and hold a pillow in my arms as if it was my dog and cry and cry. I missed her so bad. Then one day when I was laying on the sofa crying I heard a voice in my head which said..."Because you love her so much...I will find a way to bring her back to you". It was a male voice. I feel it was God. I wiped my tears and got quiet. Thought that this was so strange and miraculous because nothing ever happened to me like this. Because my dog had been so special to me I felt it was only right to not try to replace her too quickly out of respect for her. I also knew that if she was to be reincarnated, I should wait and allow her to be conceived, developed, and born. Then, a puppy must be with her mother for weeks until ready to leave the mother and become available for adoption. In essence, this was a few months. I believed the voice must be something...as strange as it was...so I looked forward to finding out the outcome of this. Would I find a dog that looked like her? Would the dog be the same breed? I ended up praying about it...asked for help to find my dog. For if this was to happen, it would definitely need Devine intervention. Thousands of dogs everywhere who I could possibly adopt. To make this story shorter... Well, I found her. She looks different...except her eyes. Same brown eyes. She has the same ways about her and the same little habits. I cannot list all of them here as there are too many. But...one special thing she does like my first dog is this: If I am standing by the sink doing the dishes, she will walk over to me for a few seconds, give the bottom of my leg a quick little lick, like a kiss, and then just walk away. This action was not taught to her nor has she witnessed it anywhere else. This is a unique behavior. How many dogs would do this loving little gesture?? Not a simple dog behavior. We have a special friendship and I do believe pets and animals are put here to help us humans. Sometimes because they can help us emotionally in a way humans cannot. I'm writing this to you because I wanted you to know that your experience is something others are experiencing too. We both have animals that have to returned to us on purpose by Devine order. Animals and pets have missions with their little lives too. Please don't think you are the only one who has experienced this reincarnation mystery. I'm sure there are others out there as well. Especially those of us who have a nack with animals or who are spiritually united with the animal kingdom. Wishes of peace to you! 😺

However, when we come across incidents like this from people of different faiths, countries and beliefs, we somehow feel quite proud of our ancient seers who penetrated fairly deep into existence beyond life as we understand.

Read Journey of the souls by Micheal Newton..he regressed around 7 thousand subjects all confirming reincarnation and life between lives of which is very interesting..apparently we belong to our own soul group usually around 15 up to 25 souls in each group?.... we all take turns at being certain players with in our family, friends etc..It's hard to comprehend our loved ones being our parents and then our children but from the other side we see it completely different..usually your spouse is your closet soulmate but not always. We all have choices, you're not forced to come back but just like the human brain ego, I gather our soul has it's own ego and plan of evolution on the path of it's own enlightenment.

I personally had a strong de-ja-vu event in my life as a young child about 8 or so while traveling with my family across the US . We stopped in a random place in a state I had never been, And the feeling I had of knowing where I was that this place was so familiar to me was so incredibly strong I'll never forget. It was such a clearly positive feeling that I had been there before .

I remember when I was around 6 months old, I used to sit on my bed, staring off into the wall, feeling disconnected from my body. I used to look at my hands and feet and I would wonder "Why?" and I thought "This is a mistake, I will go back soon". I had images of me in a desert, I was a dark skinned man with dark brown hair and I was wearing white robes, but I was dehydrated and I remember falling to the ground and blackness came upon me. I looked up at the sky, and I saw two clouds and the sun. I saw a bird, like an eagle flying upwards towards the sky, and then I died.
I also know some details, like I had two children, and I was married to this really beautiful woman. She was dark skinned too and had long, dark hair. I feel really bad for dying like that, even though I don't know if it was real or not.
I don't know if this was my child self trying to explain my body, and how I was alive. I know humans like to form stories to explain things. I am a girl now, completely different from this man that I imagined.
edit: if anybody has seen a movie like this, send me the link.

remember that death, only being happy and energetic when I visited Lake Garda, in northern Italy, in 1986. Seems that in my former life, I used

I remember a strange experience that happened a couple years ago. I was walking through my flat and suddenly in my minds eye I vividly saw a woman standing in front of me; she was a white woman, very pale in complexion, long jet black hair down to her waist, wearing a long white dress that a female from the old Quaker community/little house in the prairie would wear..she looked kind of sad..sad eyes she had..a Gothic type of beauty about her..she was standing in the doorway of the front door of a log cabin that was dark grey in color.. she was looking directly at me...I felt like I was looking into a mirror at myself, even though I am a black person...without a shadow of doubt I just knew I was looking at myself...I didn't question who she was I just had this feeling of knowing that I was looking at myself.. it was the strangest feeling I've ever had..and now as I write this I see her in my mind..I snapped out of that moment and was physically shaking for the next few minutes and wasn't myself for the rest of the day... In the 1200 validated childhood past life memory cases at the University of Virginia, gender change occurs in only 10 percent of cases. When gender change does occur confusion regarding gender identity can occur. Homosexuality can also result when gender change occurs, as the individual still identifies with their past life gender. For example, in one Ian Stevenson, MD reincarnation case, a WWII male Japanese soldier reincarnated as a girl, but retained the mindset of a man, including an attraction to women. This individual grew up to be a lesbian. It is likely that transsexuals represent gender change reincarnation cases, where the individual retains the mindset of the past life gender. When I was little, I would have a dream that would make me sweat or cry after waking up. The dream was about me sitting in a bus with a bunch of people. Outside the window, people were walking, or on bicycles. However, after a while I would see a bright light like the sun. The sun would then expland and everything would go silent until it exploded. The windows would shatter, people screamed, and I would burn and die. For the past 18 years of my life, I have enjoyed old things especially from the 20s and 40s. Growing up, people would think I was adopted because I didn't look like my parents. People think I'm Asian when I'm not. Another thing about me, is that I used to be afraid of fire, explosions, or loud noises. Up today hearing a balloon pop scares me. I always enjoyed classical movies, actresses, and music. Love fashion from the 20s-40s and enjoy Japanese culture. From a young age I was able to write Katana and Kanji with no struggling in it. I also too some courses and was able to learn a bit of Japanese without a problem. Most say that I sound fluent when speaking it. I even still know that bit of Japanese more than French which I should know for that it sounds close to Spanish [I'm bilingual]. I love my family but at times feel disconnected. Like I can't understand them at times or that I'm not related to them. At school I never liked being around people my age but older people or people who liked things similar to me. I sometimes wonder, was I one of those fatalities on August 6th, 1945 the day the bomb was drop off in Hiroshima. According to witnesses that survived, they recalled seeing a bright light. Some hearing a loud noise that would go to silence and then to explosions just like in my dream. Does that explain my dream? Why I am afraid to die in a fire or to burn myself when dealing with fire or heat? Why I feel lost? Who knows maybe reincarnation is real...
I stopped having this dream about a year ago and am afraid to dream anything related to it again.

My understanding is that, because some spiritual lessons can be learned in any religion, all of us have experienced lives in many religions by the
time our souls have evolved from their newbie state (first few incarnations) past our Young soul soul rounds (lots of action, good and bad) to the
mature stages. I'm middling-mature myself, and through various sorts of regression work I've identified past lives of mine as a monk (we brewed
beer in a north European monastary), a nun (I was daughter of a wealthy family but was schizophrenic so no use in the marriage/alliance market,
so they bought me a place in a nunnery), a muslim, a member of an Ancient Greek Mystery Cult (having to do with flowering plants), some kind of
child-acolyte at the Oracle at Cumae at the time of the Vesuvius eruption, a young boy meditating in an ice cold stone room high in the mountains
of Mongolia, etc. It goes on, and there's a lot that I still don't know about (I don't have to; if it doesn't show up, I don't need to know about it).

Early Christians for about the first 500 yrs AD believed in reincarnation. Jesus spoke to his disciples about John the Baptist being Elijah in reincarnation. Allegedly, reincarnation was removed from early biblical scrolls because if you knew you could come back, you wouldn't go to church. When my daughter was 3, we were watching Scooby Doo, and she leaned over toward me and said, "I remember when you were a little girl and I was your mommy and I would watch this with you. It was your favorite." I had never told her that my mom used to watch it with me and it was my favorite cartoon. My mom died in 2007 and my daughter was born in 2008. Both were born in December, 6 days apart.

Of course, even modern Indians are skeptical (that's why people live less than ideally good karmic lives) but back in the day where there was a greater spiritual tradition, these things were mentioned matter-of-fact whenever you read through our literature. The Bhagavad Gita for instance says that for the non-deluded person, there's no surprise when he gives up a body during "death" and eventually takes up another one.

I am 75. From the age of 2 I was singing all the top records on the Hit Parade, as it was called, but always those by lady singers. By 4 I was a fan of the Andrews Sisters and named myself Jim Andrews. Later I had memories of being a lady singer in Los Angeles; I lived in a housing court with a man I was not married to named Herb and he was not nice to me. I sang at night in a restaurant which specialized in barbecue beef sandwiches. I died of breast cancer. A few years ago I had lunch back in my hometown with two sisters I had grown up with and they said I sang before I talked. By age 14 I started a fan club for a girl singer. I still run it and publish a magazine on her. I have written her biography and did the liner notes for all her albums. Even years before we met she said even from my fan letters she and her husband saw something strange in my knowledge of lady singers and music and my knowledge of show business. I also had memories of being at the Tower of London and being a teacher there. I had a terrible fear of heights and in swimming class in high school would absolutely not go off the diving board. When I visited the Tower of London the Beefeater doing the tour was taken aback because I knew so much of what I was seeing, even ghosts famous for being in certain spots. Back in the USA I was climbing a staircase at school and felt i could not go further. I was then I learned that at the Tower of London people were killed by being thrown down a hole which ran from the roof to a sub-basement. Once I knew that had happened to me my fear of heights and going off diving boards ended.

I can't remember if it was a dream or something I made up, but I have memories of dreaming that I died. And when I died my soul floated up towards the sky, and everything around my was bright. I couldn't open my eyes, but something about the way I felt was familiar. I remember thinking, "I knew it! If only I had known this while I was alive, I could have lived my life better." It was a comforting, joyful feeling. It's hard to explain, but at that moment life seemed beautiful.
Eventually I reached the very top where I met God who was there to judge me. He said my name and then He told me that He was going to judge me. He simply asked what mistakes I've made, and then He asked what good deeds I have done. After answering Him, He asked if I believed I deserved to go to Heaven. I thought about it, and then I asked if he could give me another chance to redo my life. He said "you already have." I was confused, so he explained that I had lived many lives before, and that each time I died, I would ask for another chance at life. He showed me images and memories of my past lives. In my first life, I had lived a good, successful life with a good family, but I didn't appreciate it. In the second life, I had abusive parents, and I eventually died after getting beaten. He showed me many more, very different lives, but I was never satisfied with any of them. So I begged God for a last and final chance. I promised that I would appreciate it and do my best to do good, as long as he didn't give me a difficult life like the one where I died from physical abuse. He got impatient, almost angry, but eventually He gave in. All I remember after that is being surrounded by light and floating back into the earth feeling joy. I think I had more than one dream/memory of this. Each time, God had more past lives to show me than the last. But I can't for the life of me remember when I had this dream, or if it was even a dream at all. It feels a lot like a memory. And although I don't think about it much, I remember much of it clearly.

When I was a kid, my mother used to tell me about such incidents that took place across many villages and towns of India. I never took her too seriously as she was also a village girl. As I was growing up, a Hindi magazine published an article on such people with their photos, names and interviews. A little kid was giving blessings to old aged people with complete knowledge of their life and upbringing. He was their deceased father/father-in-law in his last birth. But these things are not positive for our world. The circle of life that they exhibit is very dangerous for the near future. It shows that the soul never actually left and got in harmony with the creator's system. As per my knowledge, it shows that everybody whose soul was mighty enough and who died early or against his natural will (as of ageing) found a body to come back to life. In India, there have been so many incidents in religious and non-religious circles where a soul or a spirit was looking for a body. That's why we were always told not to urinate under holy trees. There are trees here which are older than most of the new religions of this world along with sea ports, Hindu temples, shrines and obviously epics that are from the era when the whole western world was in dark age.

Being an Indian HINDU, for me Reincarnation is a common and familiar concept. You go for research about those things, I know how exactly that works. What terminologies are used in this concept, what is the process, and how scientifically works, everything is already there in thousands of years old books, when there was No religions even existed.
Even if you read GEETA, the very first teaching of KRISHNA clears it all. So for you it would be a field of research, but for me its usual common, and core principle of Hinduism Or SANATAN DHARMA.I can tell you all terminologies, process, How actually that works.

When you become apparently aware of the study of reincarnation, it doesn't matter what your religious background is but what really matters is how you apply the knowledge that you have. Within the different cycle of reincarnation you have been a Christian, a Moslem, Jewish, a Hindu a student of Eastern religions, and middle eastern religions, an atheist an agnostic. You have to remember that we are all children of the same God and we are only separated by a specific religious belief system or by a doctrine. Our actions in one lifetime are answerable in the next. This universal law of karma , the law of cause and effect. Which means we are responsible for whatever mess we find ourselves in. " for whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap". We are spiritual beings manifesting in a physical world, we are not the body.

You may say "I think" or "I believe" but never state your beliefs as a facts. That's why they're beliefs and not facts. Unless you can back it up with facts or tear apart the arguments of others and their beliefs.

I grew up cathelic. When I became an adult, I chose a different christian faith. I loved the work of evangelism. I have believed in Jesus as the only way to God for most of my adulthood. In fact I was once a missionary. Then I served faithfully as a bishop.
When on a very faithfull morning, I woke up very early and heard a voice speaking unmistakenly through my mind. Though the voice was heard through my mind, but it seems to be coming a little above me next to my bedside behind the wall of the bedroom. It was as if there was no wall at all between the messenger and I.
The voice said: There is a great mystery behind the doctrine of reincarnation"
I had never wanted to believe in reincarnation before. Yet this was the very thing I heard. That morning changed everything for me. Ever since I am no long this christian who believe only christianity hold the truth to many of lives questions.

Interesting; someone was talking about reincarnation, and why people have such awful lives sometimes. He said, "Karma is
a teacher; if you don't learn to love the easy way, you will learn it the hard way." That sure struck a chord in me; I'm not religious, but I do
think that this is the end-point we're all aiming for. Suffering can turn people cruel to others, but eventually I think it creates our capacity to
feel compassion for others. I do like the sound of that "easy way", though! Now, if only I could know NOW what that is . . . !

I've believed in reincarnation for years. I have been so interested in it, I focused on finding my last life: the one I had before this one. And I took everything into consideration, everything that I have found has to do with what a past life could be. I don't wanna say who I believe I was, because it's just kinda hard for me accept because of how similar I am to my past life and it's just opened up so much for me. I feel so much different. Reincarnation is one of my biggest beliefs, and I've been happier and happier with every thing I have learned.

I'm certain that this is the case and have been for many years. The same applies to these child geniuses who seem to know how to sing, do art, play instruments, are wizards on computers and other technologies etc. I am convinced that they have carried the knowledge of these things across from their past lives. I think it has a lot to do with what we are drawn to, the choices we make in life, our various fears of things, like heights, water, various aspect of Nature and so forth. I think that it also answers the question to how some of us meet people for the first time that we've never even seen or known of before, yet connect almost instantaneously as though we have known each other all our lives. Basically, I believe that the universe is an astronomical computer functioning constantly in accordance with Cause and Effect (Karma).

    • @ichabod1370
      @ichabod1370 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Well put. I prefer a different model, though: an infinitely huge tapestry that we, with our individual choices, weave as we go, each of us a single
thread. It won't be finished until all ensouled life in the universe is done, Entropy has won, and perfect balance has been struck -- and then the
whole thing explodes into a new universe, because perfection = the stopping of time and change = a stasis that's impossible to maintain, so all
the energy bursts out again. Karmic actions create the design . . . that's my picture, maybe because I'm old, and my parents were artists.

(women and children) From there I went over by a large tree and started to dig, I told her my grandfathers knife was there, we did find a knife blade, I have always been afraid of men dressed in blue uniforms with brass buttons, and long sabers. (not police or our military) This has always been with me since a young child. For some reason I feel connected to an American Indian whenever I am in Wyoming.

Humans tend to dream, and then think it happened in real life. specially with kids.. the only way reincarnation can be proven real is someone giving real evidence about his previous life instead of it always being "Moments"
ever heard of Deja Vu? that's when your brain makes you remember that a very similar moment have happened with you before but it actually DID NOT.

I think I was a slaughtered pig. When I was young and learned about 'The Farm' they said the pigs lived there, but I started crying hysterically. The teacher asked me what was wrong and I said they were lying about where pigs lived. I said pigs lived in a scary dark place where they can't move and are scared all the time. I had no idea what a factory farm was at that time.

As explained in my book Origin of the Soul and the Purpose of Reincarnation, humans do not incarnate as animals. Regarding your experiences, it may be that you had a past life in which you were familiar with how pigs are raised and had empathy regarding their treatment.

Most religions and philosophies regard the soul as being able to begin as animals. What evidence do you present in your book to contradict that?

    • @WalterSemkiwMD
      @WalterSemkiwMD  6 ปีที่แล้ว

No one has evidence that addresses this issue. My opinion is based on the trust and confidence that I have in a spirit guide named Ahtun Re, who is channeled through Kevin Ryerson. I have been working with Kevin and Ahtun Re since 2001. Ahtun Re has indicated that humans do not incarnate as animals. In the book Spiritual Light, which is based on information provided by high level spirit guides through multiple mediums, it is also stated that humans do not incarnate as animals. The human soul incarnates to grow and develop. Reincarnating as an animal would provide little opportunity for growth.
Religions and philosophies contradict one another, so they are not reliable resources to adjudicate this issue. If you wish to believe that you had an incarnation as a pig, that is your prerogative. I believe a more plausible explanation is that you had a telepathic relationship with animals, which led to your identification with the animals you had telepathy with. I can share a story involving a telepathic relationship with a squirrel at the link provided below:
      reincarnationresearch.com/do-we-reincarnate-as-animals-telepathy-with-animals/
What is more important is to spread the word regarding evidence of human reincarnation, such as the evidence produced by Ian Stevenson, MD of the University of Virginia. This evidence shows that we can change religion, nationality and ethnic affiliation from one lifetime to another, which can help create a more peaceful world, as most wars are based on differences in these cultural markers of identity. I Love the case, or my favorite case is of the child who was a WWII pilot who flew a Corsair. He knew all about the plane as soon as he could talk and ended up meeting his fellow pilots who were old men by then, and the Japanese actually held a ceremony for him and his family at the sight of his plane crash. That my friend was awesome.. oh.. this case is on this show too!

Reincarnation research does show that talents can be retained from one lifetime to another and that loved ones can reincarnate together once again. The Ian Stevenson, MD twin study dramatically shows how souls can plan lifetimes to reincarnate together. You can review these categories of cases at: www.ReincarnationResearch.com

I was a young white male in my past life in the early 1970's in N.E Washington DC. I was riding my bike home after going to the store to pick up some things for my mother and was hit by some prick driving a red Porsche who I suppose was trying to impress his woman not watching where he was going. I was in horrible pain from broken ribs and a fractured skull. I died upon arrival to the hospital and after that that is all I remember. I was reborn born August 2, 1985 some years later afterwards as a native American/ Polynesian girl in the same city but this time only in S.E Washington DC. Go figure.
I hate red sports cars or any red car for that matter. I never liked them as a child and now I have a horrible fear of riding in one let alone driving one.

I used to be fascinated with Egyptians when I was a child. When we were learning about them in school I remember thinking something seemed extremely familiar about them. I spoke with a psychic at age 12 and she said I was an Egyptian woman in a past life..a very rich one too. lol. Not sure I believe it anymore and in some ways I'd rather there not be reincarnation at all. My ex boyfriends grandmother believed that we all live many times and only are allowed to enter heaven when we live a sin free life...She wasn’t even a very religious woman yet she strongly believed in that theory. I guess we will all find out someday. .

Sin, shmin, best not to get caught up in that kind of thing; the only "sin" I know of is deliberate cruelty, to man or beast, not what you eat or don't
eat, or when or how, or how "modestly" you dress, or whether you pray, or when, or how, or which gender you sleep with if any, etc. I think it's all
about whether you are kind or not. I'm not, very or most often, and that matters to me, at any rate. The rest is mostly ethnic and cultural stuff
that's been blended with this or that religion anyway, and, IMO, mostly incidental rather than significant. What signifies is love and kindness, vs.
      hate and cruelty. A big blob of undifferentiated souls, which is where I think we all started out, has no way of knowing what love and kindness are;
it has no agency, being disembodied, and can't DO anything. But a sliver of that blob, incarnated in a living structure of meat and bone and nerves,
can figure out how to relate to similar others, and how to act on its impulses -- it can learn how to love another because it exists with others now,
each discreet, each aware, and aware of being aware (that's human consciousness -- we can watch ourselves thinking, which so far as we know is
not possible for animals running on instinct and current sense info. That's *our* schtick. It's what we come here for, IMO).

I was brought up Catholic in East Canada. When I told my mother, around age 5 or 6, that I remembered being somebody else before, not knowing fully what it meant, she told me not to tell anyone because Christians, like us, did not believe in that. A week after she died, I took the bus to the nearest library to find out if anyone else knew anything about past lives. In a small corner, I was attracted to a book on past lives.

Two "memories" - I get the impression I was hit by a car in my immediate past life. I am looking down at my shoes and wearing beige pumps and carrying a purse. I step out into the street and a car hits and kills me. That's the only flashback of that life. Another recurring dream is an "old" black woman in a shack in the hills of Virginia or maybe West Virginia. I am sitting on a porch in my chair and smoking a corn cob pipe waiting for my sons to come in from the fields. Post-slavery, but we were perhaps indentured servants. I look old, but I'm probably in my forties or fifties. And I remember loving that pipe, but not my name or my sons' names.

I have nothing to do with him, I don't even know him. At first I thought I just feel sorry for him because he died in an early age. But then there are times that I remember things that doesn't even happen before, and most of the memories are connected to him. Weird.

I do believe in reincarnation. When I was younger, about 6 I had a dream where I was flying a airplane during the world war 2with a gentleman as my copilot. I remember we got hit and the plane started to spiral down. I remember trying to grab onto to something to embrace for the impact. It felt so real, my stomach was turning and I remember grabbing my seat and closing my eyes and BAM the plane crashed...somehow I survived...I looked over at the other pilot and he was dead. Skull and body completely smashed. I was in one piece and safe....but the weird part....I am obsessed with anything from the 1940's era.....clothes, music, and old buildings.......

How many of u look up to Anne Frank? In my 8th grade English class, we read the play of her Diary. From that moment on, I wanted to be a writer just like Anne. I have kept my diary I began then, too. My teacher had us keep a journal to write in before the lecture of the day. We then handed it in to be graded. She called and told my mom and dad I had the best journal out of her classes. This is why I look up to Anne because I love to write and I am very good at it.
