    WOW! I am so glad I found your site! Gorgeous design and I would never have tried something like this...but your instructions are easy to understand so I will make this necklace!
    Thanks also for the coil technique because my necklaces always have gaps where the wire shows.

    I am using beads from the dollar bead box to make this necklace but any beads you like can be used. If you decide to make a lariat with your own beads and need help choosing beads from your own stash here is my advice. I like to mix different colors, sizes, shapes and kinds together. Start by choosing a bead that you love for me it was the tabular square turquoise beads.I choose three colors I liked together turquoise, green and purple. I then picked a neutral color brown and metallic I did gold and bronze to balance it out. Putting your beads in a bowl and mixing them together can help you decide if the mix is going to work. Try mixing finishes like opaque, transparent, matte, metallic, ab finish ext... Pick a bead with a pattern like picasso, travertine, peacock, nebulous, millefiori, cloisonne, painted, lampwork ext.. Try mixing different shapes like rounds, faceted, squares, ovals, rondelles, bicones, barrel, cathedral seed beads ext.. Another fun way to make a mix is to choose different kinds of materials like glass, swarovski, gemstone, shell, acrylic, wood, coconut, bone, metal, paper beads, ceramic, clay ext...

    Love this so much!!! Thanks for the info of how to mix beads and color combos. I had made a long necklace, no closure with tassels on both ends to wrap around or tie , like u would do a scarf. I used shell beads and pearl beads. Tfs. Will try this style next

    Love the two different ways to wear it. Love the endings and the bigger bead at the loop. How long is the nrcklace? Did you use 21 strand or 49 strand beading wire? Love your videos and your teaching style. Will try this soon. TFS.

    Aleshia, TYFS this tutorial with us. I love the idea of a Lariat necklace. I seem to have a problem with my necklaces stretching out & getting loose. I have tried several different things. I have changed the type of beading wire I use. Different crimps. I would like to know your thoughts on this problem. It has gotten so bad & frustrating I have stopped making anything. God Bless you.

    So beautiful you are so talented. Can I ask you a question? I have 2mm crimp tubed what size wire to I use? And does it need to be like so many strands? Like some say 7 strands of wire.

    Hi tks for the tutorial. What is the length of the necklace

    • @giftcreations2010
      @giftcreations2010 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I too was wondering the same thing, I have completely different beads and sizes so wanting a length. I know you said 6 feet of wire but I can't imagine each side is 2.5 - 3 ft.
