Fair play to Dechambeau, that was an awesome display of golf. Brilliant celebration on the last green and deservedly so, he kept it together so well during the round.

Worth every penny Bryson
The compelling thing for me about LIV golf is that on one hand, you have an incredible solo performance from Bryson, historic. And then on the other, a team of South Americans play so well overall that they overcome Bryson's effort and win the team event.
58 is ridiculous. Great tournament by Bryson.
There are no words that can adequately describe how insane this is. I actually thought this was clickbait for some reason. Holy crap. He shot 58...in the final round...to win. Mark my words ladies and gentlemen, this will NEVER happen again! EVER! Congrats to Bryson on this, as not only is this first win on the LIV Tour, but it completely extinguished any doubts whatsoever as to how good a golfer he actually is.

Why would it never happen again when not only has 58 been shot multiple times in pro events, it's also been shot in the final round of a professional tournament to win?

Fortunately my wife and I traveled up from Myrtle Beach for the 3 days. We followed Bryson all 54 holes. Got a little wet the last 3 holes but it was well worth it. The first round he hit it great but couldn't make a thing. That changed obviously pretty quick rounds 2 and 3. Incredible to watch....
Never seen Bryson putt so well. Incredible round of golf.
Picked a great tourney to follow him. Might be the best golf he plays of his whole career
@sebastianheine378 my guess is winning the U.S Open at Winged Foot ranks a bit higher even for him but that's just a guess. That said covering 36 holes in 119 strokes must rank up there somewhere. My guess is fully healed now and healthy bigger things will come in the future...

Way to go Bryson! Gotta say Wolfe has more fun out there than anyone, what a great attitude and it seems to keep him relaxed and comfortable. GREAT GOLF all the way around!

@@beniteztheconman No it wasn't, it was a tournament run by the new owners of the sport of golf and the PGA Tour. That fact alone gives it credibility. I think the Saudis will do a great job, just as long as the puppet board of the PGA Tour does as their bosses require... 👍

What a day. I slept well, and woke up exactly 5 minutes before the tee time to be able to turn on the App and watch it LIVE, and I woke up without even using the alarm, I just woke up!!! It was weird.
But I guess I was meant to watch this unfold, shot for shot!

Bryson really is just a great athlete that thinks way too hard. He changes his strategy completely and then comes out with a 58 soon after. The amount of work and focus it takes to completely change the way you want to approach the game of golf and then crushing it is super impressive.

Simply Breathtaking. At 64 years young , I have never seen a golfing display like this I’m my life. Conceivably, it could have been even lower. I think l can quite safely say that l will never see a golfer complete 2 consecutive rounds of golf over a Championship Course of this quality in 119 blows . Was an absolute privilege to watch it. Well done Bryson 👏
Bryson became the second player to shoot a sub sixty round at Greenbrier. The other is Stuart Appleby who shot a final round 59 in 2010 to win The Greenbrier Classic on the PGA Tour.
But this was not in a tournament. Exhibitions do not count

@@NZFarmboy80 not really...as there is no route to qualify for this tour and there are only 6 serious players. Also everyone gets a huge payday whether they shoot 88 or 58. It is not a serious tournament.

@@jayfron6012 Just before it at the PGA Championship is when I remember his game doing a 180, I'm sure he led after round 1 and then played with Koepka on the Saturday in their first pairing in a major. Finished 4th in the end I think. He's just been grinding away slowly throughout the year and it was great to watch him get a win with a final round 58, amazing golf.

These Highlights were great. That was an amazing 58. And the caliber of play was by the other guys was fun to watch. Nice to see they get to wear shorts.

Golf. Just pure golf, without the "Woke". I was a scratch golfer at one point, and played with some of the great players in some of the CA Amateur events, one of which was watching this kid as a jr. He's come a long way.
