I personally find so much value in the business side of your finances! You break it down in a way that just works for my brain, and I love taking little tips or insights into my own budgets.
Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it! I definitely think it's one of those things that you do have to break it down and get into the details because there are multiple ways to do it. And until I became a small business a few years ago, I had no idea how it worked so I thought it would maybe be interesting for others to see🤍✨
Absolutely love & appreciate the business expenses!! You are the reason I realized I could write off some equipment this past year, taxes are so confusing ❤
Ah this makes me so happy! I feel like NO ONE talks about it and it can be so hard to be so transparent about finances online, especially business finances but this is how we all learn!
I don’t have a business and never will but I do think it’s interesting to see your business budget. It’s very easy to look at all the things people on social media are buying and not realize that that’s considered a business expense for them! Feel like it helps put into perspective!!
I totally agree that I think taking the time to really go through the personal and business side kind of puts things into perspective! I feel like sometimes you'll see a creator by something and if they don't include it in their personal budget, you're like weight where did you buy that from and often times it is a business expense! So that it can be kind of interesting to share it. I'm glad you enjoyed it.☺️
I loved hearing about the business expenses because I had no idea how it all worked! And totally appreciate your transparency.
I am trying to do a no-spend month.😬 WIsh me luck!
I always used to think like oh people get it, but then I remembered if people haven't done it themselves, they probably don't fully understand it! Because I sure did not understand her business expenses worked until like two years ago🤣
Hey Carter, Happy Tuesday. I like having some money left in my checking and savings account every month as well. It’s so interesting how others budget their month compared to what they actually spend, I love these videos. I would not slurp on a bath robe or any clothes because the cheaper ones are good quality too. 😊🥰
The business side is interesting and I like how you keep track of both personal and business expenses.
Love your monthly budget videos ❤ It would be interesting to see what your longer term financial goals are if you’re comfortable sharing.
@@HaylieH89 truthfully my biggest long-term goal right now is to just save for retirement! I didn't start investing until I was 25 so I feel like I have a lot of catching up to do and that's like my main long-term focus and of course, just fixing up our home! I'm not really looking to pay off our mortgage early or anything like that🥰
@ Those are great long term goals 😊 Thanks for sharing!
Enjoyed the biz portion for sure! I do the bookkeeping for my fiancés LLC (in the states) and primarily manage our family finances so it’s nice hearing someone else talk about both the personal & business sides :)
Thanks for the feedback! As a super type A person I love doing bookkeeping honestly lol!
Loved this video! As a Canadian creator, I find it so helpful! Thanks for sharing ❤
So glad!
Love your content! I’m actually slowly starting to create content and was just this morning thinking of messaging you regarding the business side of things and how it functions. This is super insightful. Thank you so much for sharing 😊
Wow perfect timing! If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to DM me. I would love to help if I could! 🫶🏻
@@CarterSullivan Agreed! And thank you so much! I really appreciate it! ❤
I absolutely love seeing your business budget!
Oh yay that makes me happy! Like I imagine it's one of those things that not everyone is probably gonna wanna see but I know some people are curious and I'm trying to find the fine line of what to share and what to keep for myself!
The business income content is very interesting!
This is really goog video. i do the same thing with Wish things. i know i can change the idea and nôt want the same thing next month and many people dodnt understand it. This realy can help to your followers
I think the business side is interesting!
I enjoy all your videos so as much as you want to share it’s entertaining to me!
I appreciate this!!

You are so welcome! Happy you enjoyed it!!
Perfect way to start the morning while doing my budget as well 😄☕
Love that for you🫶🏻
Great way to start my Tuesday morning! ☕️
🥹🫶🏻✨
Love watching Zoe! You both offer such great content.
Thanks so much! 🥲🫶🏻
Also, love the budget stuff. I know you mentioned ideas for a non-spend video. With all the crazy in the world (TT being gone for a short time in US), maybe a how you'd get started in content creation now (maybe more TH-cam direct) and the to do's and don'ts of growing a channel and being a business owner.. Not sure if that'd be something you'd be interested in!
Love the content new subbie here😅❤
Thanks for being here 🥰
I bought the Disney adult shirt for my trip! I cant wait to wear it in MK
Love that!!!
Starbucks Coffee and Working in my notebook and watching you
Sounds so cozy! Happy Tuesday🥰
Being a nosy gal, these videos are interesting to me 😅😂
@@RebeccaABeaudoin Honestly I get that and respect it 🤣
I appreciate the business budgeting! I am a small business owner (Sole Proprietor in the US so slightly different) but my business is not profitable yet lol
You'll get there!! It took me years to see any money back on social media🥲
i bought the hommey robe and it is definitely a splurge, but it is very thick and heavy like a spa robe! i can't imagine i would need to buy another robe for a very long time.
OK, this is actually good to know!! Because at first, I was like I don't know if I would splurge on a row, but then it got me thinking that it may be one of those investment pieces that I would not need to replace for a long time. Because I feel like I get a new robe every single year cause I buy a cheap one.🥲
Love this !!
🥰🥰
Thank u for sharing this with us carter !
I love it
It’s not braggy at all to me , it’s interesting / educational / inspiring !
I hope that it comes across that way! Although I did recently read that you can't control how people perceive your content which is so true🤍✨ I have realized that I really enjoy informing about how small businesses work and I'm obviously a beginner added. I've only been doing it a few years, but this is the type of content. I feel like I needed when I was starting this business!
I’d love to see how you organize your business expenses! I am looking to create Hey there! I’d love to see how you organize your business expenses! I’m on a journey to create a simpler system for managing my finances, and I’m really curious about how you decide between what’s a need and what’s a want. I’d also love to know which tasks you choose to delegate and which ones you prefer to handle yourself. This year, I’m committed to getting my finances in better shape, and I’m taking on a fun low-to-no-buy challenge, breaking it down by month. I’d be so grateful for any tips you have to share! @@mariaborden7 I use QuickBooks! In terms of like physical receipts I just keep them organized in a binder! I have an accountant, but I do my own bookkeeping 🫶🏻
@CarterSullivan, would you be interested in sharing your organizational tools and how you use them in another video?Hey there! Thanks so much! Would you be open to sharing some of your favorite organizational tools and how you use them in another video? I’d love to see them!
Your payment from the government was the Climate Action Incentive Payment. It comes out Quarterly so you should see another one in April once you have filed your 2024 tax return.
Well now I feel silly 🫡 I wasn't sure if that's what it was since it was labelled income tax refund!
Is long COVID something you’ll have for life? Do the symptoms fluctuate from day to day? I’m sorry you have to deal with this 😢. How much is pet care when you travel? Buy the bathing suit from the wishlist!
For pet care we don't have a cost! One of my best friends watches the dogs and we watch their dog when they travel so we just kind of trade off. We usually get them some wine and maybe a gift card to eat (that we take out of our sinking fund) 🥰 But no official dog boarding or pet care cost!
Honestly w/ long COVID I have no idea and neither do doctors because COVID is still so new and not studied long term. Alot of it has been a wait and see kind of thing😅 Some of my symptoms have subsided since I was diagnosed 2 years ago (especially my dizziness and fainting) while others only flare up under stress/lack of sleep like my brain fog, fatigue, insomnia etc. Some of it I still live with daily like chronic nausea, shortness of breath, trouble concentrating, sensitivity to light/sound/external stimuli and I've just had to find a new normal!
@ you have such a great attitude ❤️. I love a good neighborly barter system , especially to save money. I have to pay $65 a day for pet care when I travel
Love watching Zoe!! If you don’t follow her, you should! ❤
She is the best🥰
One of My Comfort TH-camr Has Posted A Another New Video♥️🥹✨ and I really really loved it
❤️❤️❤️
CARTER! As always thank you so so much! So grateful for the support. 💗 ALSO I learned so much about business finances in this video!!! Loved that discussion and seeing the business spreadsheet! You describe things so well. Hope you have an incredible vacay, sending love. 💖
Sending so much love to you!!! You rock🥰
Gabby the girl you suggested just shared at 21,000 income month which was insane to me. But, it is her life so, whatever. Share the truth!! Let them theory!!
Honestly she has worked so hard on her budget template that she deserves every sale! I think she mentioned that not every month is like that and previously she's only ever made abit off of it so I'm so happy for her 🥰
FYI that Hommey brand is NOT good quality, I got suckered into their robes and it fell apart after one wash and I returned. I've seen so many people with them and they are falling apart and pilling. Expensive doesn't always mean quality unfortunately
@@amyfox4101 honestly thank you so much for letting me know!! I probably would've asked for like a gift or something, but I will take it off the wish list🫡
Gurl you talk so fast
I know 🥲😅 I'm just a yapping talking fast girl
