Nice one Tony. Great turn out for charity mate. Down Hall was our trump ♠️ card. Lovely to see so many pretty ladies on motorcycles and some beautiful looking men with moustaches 😜
Great watching my home town feature on YTube. Looked great, pity I was out if the country with work. Hope to pop in to the shop for a brew and a natter
I remember the Goldtop factory in my hometown of Hull on Anlaby Road, I noticed recently the sign has disappeared from the wall , I hope they have the one I remember at the new place , although I'm not a fan of losing local heritage . What a great day ! We had 220+ riders in Hull and a great crowd to meet us on the marina , already looking forward to next year !
Its a bit of a different animal to be fair. But the new X3 has an easier to use single lens mode, so i'm going to try that out. GoPro still seems to have the slight edge on image quality against the competition though
What a brilliant bloody good uplifting bit of video mate. While other TH-camrs post their weekly moaning you post this.. it’s what biking is all about. Thanks so much, I needed this 👍🏻
I say, that was absolutely top notch my good fellow! Jolly well done indeed to you and all the dapper chaps on the motorised bicycles Same again next year? I should say so pip pip
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Cave 😊👍🏻 I’m on the French Riviera and it was raining. DG Ride cancelled here 😒 So we all just gathered at the Triumph store.
You certainly looked the part on your RE Interceptor and I loved the pipe , was also impressed with your open face helmet which had a great custom paint job on it, would be great if you did a review on it (so we can see it close up)
Thanks Ian, it’s a very old Arai helmet, which I shouldn’t really be wearing any more, it came out for this years ride as it’s the only open face helmet I own! It was painted for me by a friend.
I'm certainly not rubbishing DGR but from what little I've gathered on their fund raising T&Cs I'm left with some uncomfortable questions as to where all of the funds are ending up. I'd like to see more (full) transparency, not just a pointer to a rabbit hole of policies and small print. We the donators are due that much.
Nice video Tony! :) I was out (I'll try and make it next year!!), so missed you all riding past my house ;) :) You woke up my neighbour and my wife and kids saw you (yourself) along with everyone else they watched riding past :) Which pub did you end up at? Have a great time at SWM this weekend, I was going to go but things didn't work out. Perhaps next year for that, also... :)
This is the first comment I have made on your TH-cam vlog, just to say I enjoyed it. I also join in the DGR for the first time this year up in HULL East Yorkshire and enjoyed it so much I will be doing it next year but this time with my beTiful wife on the back. I do believe we in hull managed 230 riders and about £18000 raised
Pubs also sell soft drinks and non alcoholic beers. You don't have to drink alcohol and i certainly don't when riding. The pub had plenty of space for the 150 bikes to park and they put on a barbecue so people could eat at the end of the ride. Riding in a DGR and raising money id good for your mental health.
@Man Cave Moto don't get me wrong, this does a lot of good and will help, but surely there are other local sporting venues, community centres, etc, that could have facilitated some food and drink. My father died with prostate cancer in 21, and by the time it was diagnosed, it was stage 4 and too late for him. Recommend people getting tested every year if there is a history of it in the family or talking to your GP. It's just a simple blood test that can add years to your life

Great watching my home town feature on YTube. Looked great, pity I was out if the country with work. Hope to pop in to the shop for a brew and a natter

They have a 3d sign outside, which the owner has had for a number of years now. Could be the origina one?
@mancavemoto That sounds like the one ! Glad it still survives .
You carry off the dapper gentlemen look quite well 😉👍! Great coverage, great turnout, and beautiful weather !
Cheers Dan
looks like a fun day out - think I'd better particpate next year
Get involved Tim, plenty of smiles per miles
Brilliant video and editing
Thanks Peter
@@mancavemoto so the big question is, is the 360 Camera better than a go pro ??
It would be great to do a back to back test on both

Lovely Edit of the DGR2023 Tony! And I can see @honestbiker and Phil Jones a few times in there!
Cheers

Thanks mate, yep bumping around in the sunshine on a simple bike with likeminded riders is great stuff.
I say, that was absolutely top notch my good fellow!
Jolly well done indeed to you and all the dapper chaps on the motorised bicycles
Same again next year?
I should say so
pip pip
😂😂
Great day (and great reason) to dress up and go for a ride with the boys.
Indeed it is
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Cave 😊👍🏻

Ah man that sucks! The 2019 London ride was a wash out, pretty miserable for the guys & girls that stuck it out

Loooove it, Tony you know how to get stylish, you must have lot of female attention...... awesome event, cheers V!
Hahaha, nope not me mate!

Is it a yearly event Tony? If it is I would liked to wave you off and see he spectacle.👍🏼
Yep, obviously didnt happen in 2020 & 2021, but yep end of May every year going forward. Come and join us!

Nice and thanks for commenting
Honestly, I don't understand why this and other dgrs ended in a pub. Pub+alcohol can lead to depression/poor mental health
