Trotsky was originally a Menshevik, meaning he split from Lenin & Stalin first in 1905 😹
While iTrotsky & Lenin were pummelled on the Vistula, it was because Stalin was trying to take Lemberg (now Lviv) rather than coming to Warsaw as ordered, so its a lazy short-hand to say Stalin sat home while Trotsky went to war. What Stalin did do was remind the rest of the Bolshevik committees what a Menshevik splitter Trotsky really was. He was just the first target while Stalin played all of original Bolshevik leaders off against one another.
Also nu-clear weapons are a really poor interstellar signal flare, they’re pathetically small, especially nuclear weapons designed to go off underwater 🤦🏻♀️

There should be a feature about Trofim Lysenko. Good ol' Trofim claimed to be a biologist, and promptly set about decrying the well established Mendelian genetics and promoting his own pseudo-scientific theory rooted in communist ideology. Namely, the idea that plants are communists as well and can take on the properties on other plants through grafting. My man was playing the game of life with survival crafting logic. There was opposition to this, but this was quickly quieted as Lysenko became Stalin's favorite, and we all know what happens when you fall out of favor with the big man himself. Lysenkoism was adopted as official policy by the Soviet Union and contributed to millions of deaths through famine and, more importantly, the long standing meme that communists never have anything to eat. He's also one of the very few people in history to actually look as much like the villain he was.
Real science is difficult under the systems of political patronage that tend to develop from big government socialism, but it's completely impossible under the pressures of a profit motive.

Seriously! Japanese music is so much more advanced compared to any other country.
They run counter melodies, they change time signatures, use Japanese style chords, employ not just standard band instruments but church bells, taiko drums, violins, etc.
They incorporate styles that we killed off in the west like disco funk, acid jazz.
And they rap to any sort of genre not just our crummy style rap music.
They seriously rap to funk, acoustics, and rock!
Their lyrics can involve anything from inspiring action, to revenge, to even love!
We are too afraid to put those in our music since that would be considered cringy.
Our culture limits our creative potential by making certain styles and lyrics weird, cringe, or worse; imitating our parents.
Japan doesn't worry about that.
They don't abandon tradition, they advance the new with the old to make something so much better! Meanwhile, we strip the merits from our forefather by making fun of them and their styles of music. It's so sad that we can't see how much further we can advance music.

Except that's entirely made up bullshit spread by anticommunist propagandists, like many youtube mainstream history channels. There is one letter in which Che asked Khruschev to conduct full scale nuclear assault against the US, but ONLY in the event that the US nukes Cuba first or invades the entirety of their territory, which Che himself characterises as a less likely possibility than a more limited attack by the US against them. (and while this may seem extreme, bear in mind lots of leaders in the capitalist world at the time thought exactly the same, including Charles de Gaulle, who wanted France to have nukes as a deterrent against potential Soviet aggression...)
The only reason Cuba wanted nukes was to have a deterrent against US aggression, and in that they were fully justified given the USA's imperialism track record! (as is even a state like North Korea or Iran nowadays - both have terrible authoritarian regimes, but both having nukes as defensive weapons actually makes the world safer from imperialist aggression by the US or proxy states of theirs like Israel...)

Yes, I think the history of the SPK (Sozialistisches Patientenkollektiv) would be an intersting topic for this series. They went from legitimate criticism of some of the inhumane conditions in psychiatric clinics of this time to outright terrorismus in just a few months, several of them joined the RAF.
