    My findings:
    3:31 - empire state troops sprue
    4:13 - empire crossbowmen/handgunners sprue
    7:32 - yup, those are tomb kings skeleton sprues
    7:44 - looks like tomb kings skeleton horsemen sprues
    8:34 - again, those are tomb kings specific
    12:30 - Gnoblars from the Ogor kingdoms range (a cousin of goblins)
    17:20 - My guess is from the wood elf range
    19:57 - yep, that's the most recent sculpt
    21:01 - earliest plastic chaos warriors
    22:17 - those are glade guard in AoS - not sure if there was an older name but they're basically wood elves
    33:51 - tomb kings chariot

    33:10 is actually a multipart plastic Knight of the Realm from the 'new' multipart Knight-of-the-Realm/Knight Errant Boxed set. That one is configured as a KotR champion. 'Questing Knights' in the latest/last army book used great swords as opposed to a Lance as part of their 'quest'.
    Bretonnia has been and always will be near and dear to my heart, even if GW nixed the line. I for one wouldn't mind seeing you paint up one or more of the 'new' Bretonnian knights though as a word of advice: The knight you mentioned having a 'simple' helmet design, that helmet was originally meant to be hung from the waist for a bare-headed knight, the decoration at it's back part actually being a chain. I'd advise you trim that off or find a head swap.

    • @GoobertownHobbies
      @GoobertownHobbies  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good eye! Thanks Daniel, this is super useful information. I never new that GW made a second plastic kit for knights of the realm, I was just trying to remember what other bretonian words I knew :-) That plastic kit actually seems pretty good. I did find a pile of Bretonnian heads, some with helmets and some without. Presumably a lot of the bare-heads are supposed to be knights errant? Either way, I can definitely do a headswap on that model you identified. I found one or two spare lances also, but I should be able to use heat to straighten those bent ones.
      I'm excited to try painting some Bretonnians, that's definitely on my list :-)

    • @Danthar
      @Danthar 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GoobertownHobbies Oh you don't 'have' to swap the heads, I was just pointing it out because it's a fairly common mistake for people to make. I personally love that style of helmet sans decoration, and have used it in the past for a couple of my Bretonnians, including a foot/mounted pair of mirrored figures I've been working on recently for use in mordheim or WHFRP games.

    • @GoobertownHobbies
      @GoobertownHobbies  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Danthar Oh ok, I'll take a closer look and decide if I like it on that model. I agree that a sans-decoration helmet definitely has a place. Thanks at least for letting me know about the chain though! I'll make sure to cut that off if it is still there :-)

    Those horses look exactly like my old wood elve's ones.
    Also the archers are Wood elves
    Both from the update in 2005... They were just insane until the "?skirmisher?" or "?loose formation?" rules got changed from no model more than 2" from the next one and 360° FOV to locked grid with some distance and 90° FOV... But it was broken before. Wardancers could jump around enemy units out of their FOV and never attacked this way. The enemy could chase the Wardancers and be shot or go after the archers just to be attacked in the back by the wardancers.

    Late on this vid, but the "pretty horses" are from the Wood Elves range that GW put out in the mid 2000's, and the weird little 'goblins' that are riding on each other's shoulders are from the limited Ogres range from around the same time. I think they were called 'Gnoblers' or something.

    Enjoyed the haul! Question from a newbie painter related to something you said: If I prime in black, then need to paint something yellow, what's the best approach to take? Should this be taken care of by having a good base coat in a color other than black, but not as light as yellow?

    • @GoobertownHobbies
      @GoobertownHobbies  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! Whoops, sorry if I was a bit condescending in that part of the video :-) Yup, if you've already primed in black, try putting a layer of paint between the black and the yellow. Medium-light brown, tan, or a yellow described as "desert" or "ochre" are all reasonable choices. They are less opaque than true yellow, but yellow will look good on top of them.
      If you haven't primed yet, consider priming in a lighter color. You can prime in any color you want, so you could prime in tan or even yellow!
