Have run private podiatry clinic for over 30 years . Just depends on what the patient presents and experience of the clinician! (Although some may get stuck in a belief that there is only one method of choice)

Back in the day shoes were made with arch supports. Now there made for flat feet. Are feet are not flat to start with, the longer you wear these shoes with no arch support ypur feet flattens and ypu have lots of health issues. Our feet were not meant to be flat. They make shoes without arch supports so they can make a business out of selling these inserts and making moldings of your feet.
