This is so awesome. My parents had a 1975 Dodge van 3000 series that had the camper conversion with the raised roof and complete with gold shag carpet. Really fun looking at these Boogie Vans. Thanks!
I was there today allowing my daughters to feed the feral waterfowl, and that's when we noticed the vans cruising in. Nothing like weed and exhaust to bring the full spirit of the show alive.
Was a East Surfer . Over the years # 1 was a ‘66 Chevy back in ‘73 , a ‘85 in ‘90 , 92 in ‘95 , 96 in the 2000 ‘s . Finally bought a 1965 Show quality Chevy Shorty , Red w/ Cragers ! Almost non existent in the North East ! Was a Rock Star wherever We went ! Love your content ! God Bless !

My uncle, her brother had a 2nd gen E100 called "Tequila Sunrise" in the late 70's/early 80's, at the show my mom informed me that my dad (he passed 8 years ago) had a 2nd gen as well that he sold to my grandfather. I told her that I never knew that, turns out I remember the van because he kept it for years and I just didn't know that it was originally my dads. Man, how I wish both those vans where still in the family. 😥

You seem pretty dialed in to the scene and I would love to know more about local events, as I always seem to hear about them after the fact. I have a 77 Chevy G10 Shortie and an 89 Dodge B150 with a 5 speed manual not a swap, it came from the factory with the 5 speed. Let me know what's poppin' bro, I'm always down for a cruise.
