It did pretty good! Curls came back fine! My curls loosened a little bit but in a manageable way. I don’t feel like it actually altered the curl pattern at all.

Is this where your product actually came from? I'm getting a little nervous about using the product now that I've ordered and received it. Scared it's not an authentic product. Joii Johnston I used it and had no issues. I don’t know of any other way to get the product than amazon because it’s a salon product. The links are just the links that I used but with amazon the guarantee is based off the seller and how well they’ve done. I hope you got the actual product! I think I did tho.

I thank you so much for this video because I work in a small city and this service is not available here. So just to get my hair done, I have to pay for a flight back home and then pay $200 for the STS system and the costs really add up quickly. Thank you again. Thank you for the thorough video. A few questions. I just got my daughter's system for school. She went to an awesome hair dresser but for my future reference and for the sake of saving money, I would love to do this on my own for myself and my other daughter. Do you know where else I can buy these products? The foam is not available via the link you posted. Also, what brand/ temperature hair dryer and flat iron do you use. Thanks again. brownskinlady 81 I think you can only get it if you’re a licensed hair stylist. That’s why I got mine from amazon. Sorry 😕. Maybe if you search the foam on amazon you can find it from another seller. My flat iron and blow dryer are both babyliss! The blow dryer is the porcelain one I think. It’s a little heavy, fyi but works great. The flat iron is just the one inch nano one. ♥️
@@ShaaanelleI just looked on Amazon and the foam is available, I was looking on a salon website and they had three different versions of step 2 of the process🤔 it has my confused on which of the three bottles I should choose 🥴 they have listed step1, step222, step3 🥴 I’m not sure which one of the bottles to choose for step 2
@@81redddd Hi! I haven't used the system in forever so unfortunately, I may not be of much help, but I do recall there being different types of Step 2 and you can choose whichever one you need to get the results you'd like. I believe the one I used was specific to elongation and management.

Nelen Ilceus it’s supposed to last 10-12 weeks depending on how often you wash your hair and how well you maintain it. If you use a shampoo that has sulfates, it won’t last as long.
Be careful about buying this system outside of a official Design Essentials representative which guaranties the the "real official products'', China are masters of counterfeit products and there is no way of knowing the true chemical compounds of the product. You can only buy this system if you are a licensed cosmetologist that is guaranteed to be real through a Design Essentials distributor. Beware of buying it in unofficial beauty supply stores chances are it's not the same actual product only just the cleverly copied package.

I’m not using it anymore. 😐 and you’re right it’s hard to find now.
Do you condition your hair too
With this system, you don’t use a conditioner per the instructions.
