I can't count how many (including a ton of my favorites sadly) I've lost due to throwing them in a random bag or tossing them in a corner. I started organizing them a little bit and it's worked great so far!

I also have a few tips on telling real and fake LPS apart coming from personal experience (basically my parents accidentally bought me fakes once so-): - Zoom in close if looking at a picture. Are there blemishes? Does the paint look perfect or slightly soft on the edges? Yes: Probably real, as fake LPS typically look brand new. No: Probably fake, unless it's just a real one in great condition. - Are some characteristics off? Ex. colors look too dull, too bright, or not the correct hue, paint is misshapen, eyes are too small... Yes: Fake. No: Real. - If the LPS you're looking for is G2, are the eyes glossy? Yes: Probably, but this doesn't do for all fakes as I have a fake 1451 with glossy eyes. No: Fake. - How does the plastic feel or look? Matte and slightly grainy, can be pushed down a little: Real. Completely smooth, hard as a rock: Fake. - Is the peg in the neck clear or white? Clear: Real. White. Probably fake. - If the LPS has a hexagon hole in their paw, does it have a circle around it? Yes: Probably real. No: Fake. - If the LPS you're looking for has a magnet, what color is it? Pink with a paw: Real. Blueish gray, nice and strong (try sticking to a fridge), smooth: Probably real. Little bit too blue or gray, weak, not smooth: Probably fake. Blue when it's supposed to be pink: Fake. - (exclusively for #2291) Does the number on the front left paw say 13531B? Yes: Fake. Hey there, I just went to the Dollar Store and was able to get myself a few of the budget line pets! I found duplicates of the swans so I could use them in a DIY, and the other three are for my collection! I'm super happy to be collecting again! If you like tiny things as well as monochromatic things, the budget line is a great idea lol.

Mercari is also an awesome place to buy lps Usually people have no idea what they are selling so you can get really cheep rare (and usually authentic) LPS (and MLP)

Actually, they do still sell old LPS on Amazon. The ones that don’t show the price you actually have to click on it and look at the buying options. However, most of them are insanely expensive so I would recommend trying to find a specific LPS at a good price otherwise you’re better off either ordering the fakes or buy them off of eBay instead.

I feel like another great way yo get ur dream lps for trading. Do you have a double of an lps that you hate that could be someone's dream lps? Just trade! Although make sure the person has proof, good feedback or just have them send first.

I really recommend Craigslist! I just found someone selling Lps including main five’s for a dollar each. There’s 64 in total, and the sellers are usually really close to where you live because of your selected area!

i have been collecting since 2018/2019, that was the time where my dad had to buy me lps since i was younger. i think that maybe for some younger collecters maybe get someone like your parent or a friend to help you start collecting and gather them up, like maybe order them for you or help you gather money to buy them
i keep thiking about the fact i saw a lps set that i actully used to have when i was like 5 or 6 is starting to make me cry because its nostalgic to me.
My first LPS came with a completely different toy set when my mom got it from her friend. There was two bee LPS, a snail LPS, a few cats and two dogs. I didn't know what generation it was (looked like two) but I played with them until one day I tragically lost them, or when my mom sold the toy set the LPS were probably inside the box. Now I have 0 LPS or maybe I just lost them. Note: one bee you could press the button and then the wings and it moves around fast, but the snail you could press the button and it would go slowly like a real snail.
Every time I buy LPS there’s a note in the bag that says thank you for buying these why is there no note inside the bag when I buy The new generation lps😂 I love your channels keep doing what you’re doing

I used to be a lps collector in the early 2000's and had over 700 of them (including rare ones and the price of them now kills me 😩) (i had many doubles also haha ) (Edit : i made a checklist and with all the doubles i had a 1000 lps at the start but i sold many doubles at the time So i guess without all the doubles it either comes down to 600-700 doubles ) (Not only lps but the plushies and the digital pets ) But all of them were left at my dad's and i had a horrid family situation so all of my belongings are now gone (Not only lps but they are the ones i miss the most ) I lost all of them but one (a basset hound that i luckily had kept with me ) Hopefully one day i will be able to collect them again 💗 ( a dream of mine though has always been to buy lps again from the 90's (had a few as well) I wonder if they are harder to find ?) Well except the goodwill thing since i am not from the U.S I'm from Europe and we used to go at Toys'r'us 😭
My daughter had a similar situation with her father. He moved out of state when she was a sophomore in high school. Had a garage sale before he left and sold all her LPS and Polly Pockets. She was heartbroken. She is now 24 and I am working on starting a new collection for her. My trouble is they look so much alike, and how do I track the ones I have? And I bought her some houses, etc that require the magnets. How will I know which ones those are??
@@TjC_3124 Apologies for the late reply I am so sorry to hear this happened to your daughter as well 🙁 Sending hugs 🤗 You are such an amazing mom to do that for your daughter i am sure she will be very happy ❤️ I don't know if this helps much But i found a website that is called lps merch When you go on there you can create an account (just with the email adress and your own password ) Then select the lps from the generation you want (gen 1 to 3 for the oldest ) Then you can see each individual lps You can tap the heart for the wishlist (i think the check is for when you have it ) For polly pockets you might find them on etsy or ebay But idk if that helps much these ones can be hard to find sometimes (depending on the model ) and going by memory of what your daughter had can be tough (without the thing like the lps website has ) Have a nice day 🤝

There was two bee LPS, a snail LPS, a few cats and two dogs. I didn't know what generation it was (looked like two) but I played with them until one day I tragically lost them, or when my mom sold the toy set the LPS were probably inside the box. Now I have 0 LPS or maybe I just lost them.
Note: one bee you could press the button and then the wings and it moves around fast, but the snail you could press the button and it would go slowly like a real snail.
Every time I buy LPS there’s a note in the bag that says thank you for buying these why is there no note inside the bag when I buy The new generation lps😂 I love your channels keep doing what you’re doing

I used to be a lps collector in the early 2000's and had over 700 of them (including rare ones and the price of them now kills me 😩) (i had many doubles also haha )
(Edit : i made a checklist and with all the doubles i had a 1000 lps at the start but i sold many doubles at the time
So i guess without all the doubles it either comes down to 600-700 doubles )
(Not only lps but the plushies and the digital pets )
But all of them were left at my dad's and i had a horrid family situation so all of my belongings are now gone
(Not only lps but they are the ones i miss the most )
I lost all of them but one (a basset hound that i luckily had kept with me )
Hopefully one day i will be able to collect them again 💗
( a dream of mine though has always been to buy lps again from the 90's (had a few as well)
I wonder if they are harder to find ?)

My daughter had a similar situation with her father. He moved out of state when she was a sophomore in high school.
Had a garage sale before he left and sold all her LPS and Polly Pockets. She was heartbroken. She is now 24 and I am working on starting a new collection for her.
My trouble is they look so much alike, and how do I track the ones I have? And I bought her some houses, etc that require the magnets. How will I know which ones those are??

I don't know if this helps much
But i found a website that is called lps merch
When you go on there you can create an account (just with the email adress and your own password )
Then select the lps from the generation you want (gen 1 to 3 for the oldest )
Then you can see each individual lps
You can tap the heart for the wishlist (i think the check is for when you have it )
For polly pockets you might find them on etsy or ebay
But idk if that helps much these ones can be hard to find sometimes (depending on the model ) and going by memory of what your daughter had can be tough (without the thing like the lps website has )

Literally the reason I collect LPS is because my friend she got me into it she has a lot of LPS and she’s one of my best friends at drawing to so we have some things in common
Yea I went to Target and Walmart and there was literally NO LPS
It killed my eyes at the sight
That's why I beg my mom to order some online, but we are currently broke
lps aren't very popular to the general public anymore, so they basically don't exist in stores
I buy my old lps from Amazon and there actually pretty good:)

I have 62 pet shops , my parents are not letting me buy some more , because of the amount of money I spend on 3 pet shops once a week . I've been doing that from a while now...My goal is to have at least two or three pet shops from a breed or a kind!
Though I’ve started to slowly lost the motivation on collecting lps this is still so helpfull😊😊😊. Also there are now cool fake lps but the real ones is still the best☺️☺️

Amazon is THE WORST place for buying G2 LPS, you probably shouldnt order off of there
