Ryan Shannon is a veteran who suffered his own mental health challenges and knows this firsthand. So he’s now working to help other vets fighting the same battle. i am currently in the Military as an active Duty soldier and there is a massive stigma when it comes to mental help, the SGT's and upper leader ship make it really hard for any one to go seek help . the army is fked . i cant wait to be out , although i dont suffer from mental health issues i know many people who have issues and they are really struggling to get help

It’s a daily struggle brother just suck it up enough to find the help you need. It’s hard to ask for help and the shortage of care is rediculous. Misspelling.. reach out to your brothers. We will take ya fishin or hunting’. The outside world is never gonna get it man.

The bigger tragedy is asking for help only to be turned over to snowflakes who work at the VA who never wore a uniform.

I don't ask for help anymore, I'm the type that never asked for any help. I find my help by driving long-distance trips out in the countryside, standing in the rain and looking up to the heavens, and asking God to comfort my soul and heal my mind, I live in my vehicle and it helps me a lot. Be strong my brother.
