Other notes: Since there were thunderstorms in the forecast for the first Wednesday last month, we decided to do a Wyandot-Ashland County combo. Our first test of the day was this 1000 in Harpster, which I had been wanting to hear for a while since people say it's insanely loud. I can confirm it is indeed super freaking loud, it easily makes the top 10 loudest Thunderbolts I've heard so far, if not the top 5. My meter read 114.2 dBA from where I was set up when the horn faced my direction, 117.6 from roughly 200 feet away, and maxed at 124.3 from standing by a building 100 feet Northwest of the pole. Connor's meter got up to almost 130 dBC, which is absolutely WICKED, although that reading does honestly seem a bit extreme. There is also an inactive Fedelcode right next to the 'bolt with the top shroud sitting on the ground right below both sirens. I turned the ISO on my PowerShot down a bit before I started recording since the shot looked kinda bright with it on auto, but unfortunately, that somehow made the camera record in 30 fps rather than 60 fps. The wide shot is still in 60 fps though, so I can still render and upload this video in 60 fps. Anyways, this test was pretty fun, and I'm very glad I finally got to hear this beast in person. Enjoy!
