Other Notes:
This past Sunday Tom and I went out to PA to film some sirens in the Johnstown area. One of our stops was this awesome 6M 1000 in the town of Vinco. This is the first proper recording of this thing and I'd say I'm pleased with it other than the wind at the end. Mother nature was not very kind to us this day. Anyways, this was definitely a treat to hear in person and was extremely loud! Other than the wonky timing, the siren itself sounds really good. Enjoy!

dayumn that thing looks awesome!
And it’s like 20 years old
@@Bloxburgbuilder237 uh- no.. it's more like 30 - 40 years old. Thunderbolts went out of production in 1990 and this head looks way older than a C Series bolt and it's probably your average 1970's T-bolt head, the blower being a 6M means the blower is from the 1950's.
@@tornadof2572 years old
@@tornadof25 Ok. Sorry if I was wrong!
Cool, I live 30 minutes away from this siren, I'm glad to see and hear it!
Holy God that’s WOW!
The siren sways the whole damn platform
6M 1000’s possess an amount of bass that is just jaw dropping damn near every time.
Later 1000’s just don’t have this. Don’t think it’s just the blower. Has to be the chopper cap with no divider.
Now that mount is KLEAN! The attack timing is a littpe wacky but the siren sounds good.
Hey before a kiddie says it. You spelled little wrong
@@WV_SIREN_GUY1That one also has a crows nest. That's a rare sight these days.
Awesome mount, awesome siren!
Glad to finally see a recording of this thunderbolt! I saw this one in person and searched and searched to see if this one was ever recorded but didn't find anything until now! Which also means the tbolt in export isn't the only active thunderbolt in pa
Check back here in a week for another PA thunderbolt 👀
Wrong. Wampum PA has a jailbar that goes for fire calls.
wampum isn’t a jailer but yes
Oh yeah I forgot about the wampum tbolt lol
@@sirensofneohio3979 thought it was.. definitely seems old enough to be.
Oh well
Gooood, goood.
I like thunderbolt
NICE!!!!! Damn that rotates fast. Also goofy ahh attack timing
I will now climb up there To the siren cause I see a ladder
Cool video! So since you said it was test As Needed, how did you know they were going to test?
thundernox
Hello I am here to find out if you made the official us siren map?
yes, it’s in need of updating tho
@@sirensofneohio3979 I’d like to request an update on Little Rock airforce base they recently replaced the ati (I live on the airforce base) it looks like an alertronic Al 8000 but they didn’t replace the one at the bank near that intersection
@@sirensofneohio3979 no actually it’s a different siren I forgot which one but ti looks like an alertronic 8000 but without the box in the center holding the horns together
@@sirensofneohio3979 it’s a federal signal DSA
Looks to be a bar grille under there
It's not. Look at it in old street view.
